We had agreed how much Botox would go into my bladder. Once I was under, he changed his mind (NOT ok) and gave me more, which affected surrounding areas more, as it does, and took away my sexual sensation even further that is already low due to spinal cord injury. Liked him until this blatant move against patient consent. Was extremely upset, cried during sex for months, and my relationship broke up. He was really tired from stayed up too late watching the footy the night before, he told me, yawning, just before I went in. Awesome... Very glad he is no longer with the hospital who's care I am under. Ethically defunct.

Following surgery that left me with bladder problems for twelve months I was finally referred to Dr Mactaggart who I found to be very understanding, explained everything very well and due to expert surgery was able to cure me . I cannot thank him enough for giving me my life back!

Have been seeing Dr Mactaggart for years. A wonderful surgeon that has been more than patient with my many questions and problems. I have seen him at Sunnybank, Greenslopes and the QE11 and found at all times he holds a very professional manner.

Absolutely incredible! Best doctor I've seen in so long- took his time to properly listen to my concerns, explain things and didn't rush me out the door. Peter answered all of my questions and went above and beyond to reassure me that he can help my condition and in a timely manner. Even organising to squeeze me into his schedule asap. Thoroughly impressed and looking forward to continuing investigations and treatments with him. The receptionist was also extremely lovely. Can't fault my experience at all :)

This Doctor is fantastic. He explained everything very well. I felt like he took the time to understand me. He can be confronting sometimes as he doesn't mince words but taken in context I totally get it.

Was very rude and treated me as though I was inferior yet I'm the one that knows my life better then he does. He compares patient as though they are all the same. Very arrogant!!

Dr Mactaggart has changed my life. I cannot recommend him enough. Fantastic surgeon who is very caring and generous. He sent the account for my procedure straight through to my health fund with no gap to pay which is unheard of these days.
