After visiting a number of GP’s in Melbourne without any success or outcomes, I attended Dr Ian Maxwell in early February and after an initial consultation he prescribed an immediate relief medication for my burning feet problem. A second consultation which included nerve testing confirmed that I have some degeneration in my lower back and ankles. I got into this Doctor very quickly that should have told me something as most good neurologists have a long waiting list. He is a pleasant person with a good bedside manner but his subsequent report and diagnosis leaves a lot to be desired due to lack of detail. He did not order a nerve conduction test (numbness feet and toes) . Subsequent testing by another neurologist told me the problem. Money down the drain stay away .
