Absolutely dreadful doctor. She was 50 mins late to my appt and didn’t even apologise. She was rude and abrupt and just wanted to get off the phone. I was awaiting pregnancy confirmation and she just said “everything is fine”. I had to ask her if my pregnancy was confirmed and she had to check again - she didn’t give me an any reassurance or even say congratulations. I asked her about a medical episode that I had the day before and she said she didn’t know how I could treat it. She was horrific and after googling her I found she had a lawsuit filed against her for negligence. How is she still practising!!!!

Very impressed with her attentiveness and care over the years! I am yet to find another practitioner that does cosmetic work I am happy with.

I went to Sharron for Botox back in 2018. I prefer to go to get my botox injections from a doctor rather than a nurse as I find that they normally they do a better job. That is not the case with Sharron. She used an inferior product and my forehead hurt so much for 2 weeks afterwards. The injections also did not take effect. Absolutely horrid experience. She spent the whole appointment talking about herself. It was very cringeworthy. She is the most unprofessional doctor that I have ever visited and her medical clinic in North Sydney is the pits. She writes her own reviews to try to counteract the negative reviews. Please read her google reviews and her clinic's reviews. If it sounds like an advertisement for her clinic then you know she wrote it. She needs to be reported to AHPRA.

Saw Pr Phillipson for Botox. Although i had to wait she was personable and very knowledgeable. She also sees GP appointments - and seems to take her time with the patients who really need it.
See you aagain soon

Please save yourself and do not ever see Dr Sharon Phillipson. I saw her back in the year 2015. She did a laser in my mole and did not point the laser accurately. The scar is now bigger than the actual mole. Someone should report her and ombudsman needs to thoroughly check whether she is actually qualified to do all those procedures she claims she can do.

Dr Phillipson injected Aquamid under my lower eye area. Not only did she not tell me that this was permanent but she injected it in the wrong place and I have had to get it surgically removed. She took no ownership for her wrong doings and wanted to brush me off a quickly as possible. Do not go here for cosmetic injections as she will ruin your face!

Dr. Phillipson barely glanced at me and had already concluded what I had and how she was going to treat me. I knew that I had perioral dermatitis because I have had it before but could not go on (and didn’t want to anyways) oral antibiotics because I am pregnant. I tried to give her a full history of what I thought were contributing factors and what I had a already tried so that she could hopefully recommend alternate/more natural remedies and we could get to the source of it. I could tell she was not listening to me at all and was just writing out the script that she was determined to give me, in spite of my previous lack of success with the same cream (which she would have known had she been listening to me). I asked her what I was meant to do if the cream did not work this time around and her answer was - wear makeup. (SERIOUSLY?)
I have suffered from dermatitis in the past however at the moment (and likely largely due to the hormones/suppressed immune system resulting from pregnancy) it feels like my skin is raging. In addition to the perioral dermatitis, I also have eczema outbreaks on my arms and neck. Dr Phillipson was adamant that it was not connected tho and had nothing to do with any internal factors (such as hormones or an abundance of bad gut bacteria) but was caused by genetics only and was something I would just have to deal with and “put makeup on” if I was self conscious about it.
If you are looking for a doctor that has NO concern whatsoever with discovering and treating the cause of a health issue but just treating the symptoms, give Dr Phillipson a try. If you would like to work with a doctor to try and heal your body, both the cause and symptoms of a health issue, do yourself a favour and try ANY OTHER doctor first.
On a positive note, the reception staff was lovely.
