Sometimes he runs behind schedule but he is a brilliant physician and a kind compasionate human being and always takes whatever time he needs with you. Up to date on the latest in treatments and we've been going for at least 15 years.

I like Dr. Sperber but he is really slow and I waited in his exam room for 45 minutes while he sat in his office next door on the computer. I was really sick coughing and just felt horrible, he must have been able to hear me and knew I was waiting. He should do his computer work after hours and stay on schedule. He always runs at least an hour behind and his staff is well aware of this. Otherwise I like him personally.

I have known Dr. Sperber since he was a medical resident at UC Irvine medical center. He is brilliant, caring, compassionate and will spend what ever time neccessary to help his patients with minimal concern for the lousy reimbursemnthe receives for these servives.

That's impossible. Sperber is a consumate professional and a complete gentleman. He has been my primary phys. for almost 20 years. He is the chief of medicine at San Clemente, is one of our finest citizens, and donates his time and work regularly to needy causes - gratis. You must be insane.

This man called me a liar, dishonest, told me I had psychological problems and should seek help for my personality disorders. Called other Doctors of mine in an attempt to slander my name. Accused me of things that were not true, that were later proved to him that I was right in the situation. Before that was the case though, he "fired" me as a patient and left a diabetic and an epileptic without medical care. He uses profanity while in the exam room, tells you it is your fault if you are having differences of opinion with other Dr.'s and would like a referral to a different Dr. This man is not professional, and will not treat you with the care you need or deserve. Unfortunately, his staff is wonderful.
