Along with this doctor's knowledge and educational expertise, he is also very compassionate and takes the time to help the patient understand complex medical terminology. His clinic is run like a well oiled machine, and the nurses in the chemo treatment clinic are compassionate, kind and understandingly gentle with each and every patient. I am not the patient, but come with one and for months---almost two years, now, I have never seen any deviation in this behavior in any or all of the staff and/or Dr. Boyd. Thank God for such a place!!!

After being diagnosed with Leukemia Dr James Boyd and his office staff fails to meet expectations in many areas. From losing vials of my bloodwork to lnot being able to find lab results during office visits. Now James Boyd will not release my medical records after multiple requests. Do yourself a favor and find an oncologist that cares this one does not.

I came to Dr. Boyd shortly after finishing treatment in another state. I was a stg III breast cancer patient with several problems...not an easy patient. He has been unfailingly kind, knowledgeable and through. I feel very fortunate to be in his care.

Dr. Boyd dismissed me and an acquaintance from his practice at 10 years, following breast cancer. He does not recommend any follow-up and said to call if we have a problem. We are not comfortable with being released from his care because 10 years out is no guarantee and if symptoms appear, we may be in final stages of advanced cancer.

Dr. Boyd is not only an incredible doctor, he is an awesome person. I cannot imagine a more difficult job, and yet he is always so upbeat. When a new treatment protocol came out, he was right on top of it. I've never felt rushed. All of his staff is top notch!
