Although the staff in his rooms have been great, it is interesting that the common feedback in other reviews below refers to his inability to listen to patients, rushing patients in and out with minimal time spent on actual care to address the problems. I too experienced these disappointing elements. Having seen him 4 times before, during and after my surgery, he didn't listen on any of those occasions and spoke over me to keep to a 5 minute consult time. I had 4 different conversations with him that were confusing (and I am an intelligent person with some medical background, so I would hate to know how others feel without supporting background knowledge). When I had to push to get his final report sent back to my GP, it contained factually incorrect, misleading and condescending information that didn't correlate to the verbal conversations I had with him, and showed that he hadn't bothered to read my referring doctors and specialists reports. Perhaps he is getting his patients mixed up or just cycling people through as fast as he can. Do not recommend, and is worth the wait to see a different ENT when they can fit you in.

Dr Carney and his staff were amazing. Had an operation to stop snoring (tonsils, uvula and tongue channeling). Amazing care and follow up. far less painful than expected. excellent hospital care

Amazing amazing Dr and very helpful and knowledgeable, at the top of his game. My surgery was postponed due a mistake which Dr Carney wasn’t aware of but boy did he make his presence known and I was super impressed in the fact he was advocating for the patient. I have high complex medical needs when it comes to surgery and Simon was able to accomodate all these needs. He made sure I came through the operation and was doing well and consulted with my family member to ensure the op was a success and I was doing well. Please don’t listen to any negative reviews as Dr Carney, Simon calls a spade a spade, he doesn’t mince words, is up front and to some that may come across as arrogant but trust me it’s not. Once you truly get to know him he’s a very soft caring person it’s just that his business is in achieving surgical outcomes for his patients and sometimes patients can’t see that but that’s the way Dr Carrey is. He is very professional, shoots straight from the hip and fixes your issues. He is the kind of Surgeon I would trust with my life, he’s that good and I’ll stand by it 100%. After countless failed operations and failed promises, Simon was the beacon of light in a dark storm, he’s my go to Dr if ever my sinuses fail me again !!

I've been seeing Prof Carney since Nov 2018 and he has been the best and most attentive specialist I have dealt with. He did two surgeries (different issues), both very successful, and I am forever grateful I was referred to him. His bedside manner is exceptional, he listens and will make sure you only get the treatment you absolutely need.

After years of inhalers and asthma testing we finally got an answer and a solution to a longstanding problem. Dr Carney is not only extremely knowledgeable, he was wonderful with our daughter. Looking forward to finally having a happy and healthy 14 year old. Thank you is simply not enough.
