We were referred to Dr. Lafrance as my daughter has some pretty complex health problems, along with behavior issues. After the first visit, I left the office in tears, happy tears, because for the first time, I felt like she would be the first doc to really help us. My daughter has seen a variety of psychologists since she's been 5 years old. This is the first time we have worked with a psychiatrist, and I am confident that we are in extremely good hands. Dr. Lafrance is knowledgeable, confident and very skilled at what she does. She always takes time to listen to our concerns and only prescribes medications (in low doses) as needed. I would highly recommend her!

Dr. LaFrance has been taking care of our daughter for many years and there is no one we trust more when it comes to this part of her health care. She has a very unknown condition and Dr. LaFrance and her team work with the other doctor's needed to make sure our daughter gets the care and concern that she needs. She is always there when we need her even if it is just something that can be done via email and when there is an urgent need to be seen, it happens as quickly as possible. She is not quick to prescribe medication unless absolutely necessary. She listens to not only the patient but the parents as well and hears what you are saying. She is interested in all aspects of our daughter's life as it all contributes to who she is. She listens, laughs, feels empathy, whatever is needed at the time. I would recommend her to anyone at anytime. We feel very blessed that she was brought into our daughter's life and that she continues to be such an amazing influence for her!

I have always had a good experience with reception and have always had messages returned in a prompt manner. My experience with Dr. LaFrance has been equally as good. My child's condition necessitated the involvement of various fields of specialty. Dr. LaFrance has always been especially accessible, knowledgable and helpful among all the specialists I have dealt with.

I was very happy with Dr. Lafrance. I was quite worried and distraught when I saw her. She listened to my concerns regarding my son and put all my worries at ease. She has extensive knowledge and insight and allowed me to see alternative solutions to my sons needs. She made me see that its not one thing contributing to his problem but rather multiple contributing factors leading up to the problem. I am thankful for her patience and not making me feel like an irrational parent.

This doctor saw my child for less than 10 minutes for the first appointment and we left with a prescription in hand. She did not spend any time speaking with my child on his own or doing a thorough assessment. Has very poor social and interview skills and was quick to prescribe medication and get us out the door. My child has very complex issues but you would never know it from that appointment. We will not be going back to see her and would advise others not to either.
