Dr Bachowski is the best MD in the Washington Metropolitan area. He takes time and listens even in a world of insurers that pay next to nothing for a visit, he does not count the minutes...he listens. I have never heard of a Dr that does that. I have had nothing but good experiances at his office. I have been his patient for about 4 years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else but his office. For the past 30 years I have had a very complicated medical problem and he has been the only doctor that has been able to keep it under control.

Dr Bachowski is GREAT!!!!! he is the best doctor I have come across in a long long time..I came into his practice with many health issues and he has address all of them with compassion and knowledge..his office staff is great..whatever I ask of them they do with a smile..its not a stuffy office like most you go into..there all down to earth people that are willing to do what they can to help

Dr. B is the best personal physician in the area. I've been going to him for more than 15 years when he was in larger group. His staff is excellent and I've always been able to get an appointment when needed. He has never been afraid to order tests regardless of the insurance plan I was with at the time. He is a great doctor and a nice person.

Dr b is very intune , he helped me down to the detail of my diebetes. Very caring, explains everything to you. My sister has been going there for 15 years, Im glad I switched docs.

My entire family has been coming to Dr. Bachowski for years and he is truly one of the best Doctors I have ever visited. The long waits do tend to get annoying but this is normal for GOOD doctors. I honestly don't think I want to go to a doctor that has a practice with no patients. Plus he speaks Polish, which is a big plus for my family and I.

I understand that the 5/24/08 poster went through a very, very difficult situation, but to make the Statement "DO NOT TRUST HIM" is overly harsh, and frankly, runs completely contrary to my own numerous experiences with Dr. Bachowski. One doctor can not possibly be all things to all patients. That's why specialists exist! Frankly, for ME, Dr. B has been a dream-come-true relative to his 1)caring attitude, 2)candidness about diagnosis, 3)speed of response after-hours, 4)thoroughness of response, 5)patience with any and all of my questions and concerns, 6)ability to make the Dr-Patient interchange a true 2-way exchange (Personally, I deplore Docs who come off as know-it-alls, and who bulldoze their petients, and Dr. B is NOT one of those) Despite the negative postings below, I, on the other hand, would recommend Dr. B to anyone as their Primary Care Physician. The waits & casual front desk manner is secondary to the care one gets from Dr. B...and what Dr's office DOESN'T have long waits?

Dr. Jan Bachowski mis diagnosed me with seasonal allergy in 2004 and 2005 when is fact I had BRAIN TUMOR! He refused to send me to MRI or CATSCAN, and looked at me as if I was a faker with my sevier heachaes. I had to switch PC doctor. With all these delays I ended up with an emergency brain surgery in October of 2005 and more of a lost functions than I could have. DO NOT TRUST HIM!
