Dr. B is was an excellent doctor. He really cared about my concerns. I know sometimes I have to wait to be seen, but its worth it because he spend the same amount of time with me. People that complain about waiting are the ones that spent the most time with him. Needless to say, he is an excellent doctor that really cares about the patient as a human not a machine.

i dislike the whole practice. they are rude at the front desk. i have had problems with them not answering the phone. i have been hung up on by the woman at the front desk because i didn't understand what she was saying so she got frustrated with me and hung up. i called the emergency number on the weekend and no one ever called me back so i had to go to make a trip to the er. they have messed up my blood work (charged me twice co.-pay for there mistake when the aren't supposed to charge for blood work at all), they messed up insurance forms, i was misdiagnosed with anxiety and panic attacks when i had lyme disease and babesia and i told him thats what the head of the er at suburban thought it was and still he didn't listen and told me to come back in 2 weeks when i felt like i was dying and insisted it was panic attacks and kept telling me oh you just need to relax (quote) . its unfortunate because i know jan is a good doctor and is knowledgeable but his practice is awful.

The Dr is excellent and I am grateful that I was referred to him. Since seeing him, I have improved and feel much better. He takes the time to patiently listen and hones in on all of your problems. Best Doctor I have ever had!!!

I am a fairly new patient--1 year with this practice. My history is now complex, as a recent cancer patient. Dr. Bachowski is EXCELLENT--highly knowlegeable, great rapor, and other practitioners have made a point of remarking on their respect for him, which inspired even more confidence on my part, as a layperson. My esteem for physicians is not reflexive, but he certainly has earned it.He is the best primary care guy I can imagine finding.

Dr Bachowski has been my doctor 15+ years and I wouldn't think of switching! Real care, not just a form to fill out. He has seen me through a wide range of medical misadventures with great concern and with excellent referrals when needed!!

Dr. Bachowski is the best family practitioner I have ever had. He spends as much time as necessary with me and is usually available for phone consults when necessary. His office might not be the most fashionable, but who cares? I'm not there for the ambience, I'm there for good medical care. He will talk to me about whatever is going on in my life and tries to help with any issues that are affecting my health. I find his office staff to be much improved from when I first started seeing him, and I very much appreciate the care that I receive from Dr. B. and his staff. If I ever have to wait for him, I understand that it's because he's giving his other patients the same understanding care that I will soon receive from him. I highly recommend Dr. B. for a down to earth, caring physician. I'm lucky to have him on my medical team. Thank you.

I agree with the previous poster of 11/06. VERY long waits, unprofessional/rude office staff, dingy office, and the dr. is not comprehensive at all. No notes, did not check my weight, address my concerns adequately, and so on. I ended up seeing the nurse practitioner when I recently had a fever and infection because the dr. couldn't see me, even though it was an emergency and I called the day before to make an appointment. The nurse practitioner was great, but there are still LONG waits (I've never waited less than an hour). Needless to say, I'm on this site looking for a new dr.

Dr Bachowski was a nice Doctor, but not thorough at all. Never took my weight,vitals or ordered any blood work for a physical exam appt. Got a short past history from me, failed to ask me any questions and didn't take any notes. The office setting was very old and dingy. The office staff lacked professionalism. They were talking about other patients and complaining which you could hear throughtout the waiting room.
