If you're looking for a gentle, patient, empathetic and professional dentist in Alexandria, look no further. I've been Dr. Assadi's patient for almost a decade and there is no one else I trust more than her. I feel comfortable, safe and taken care of every time I'm in her chair. She's extremely thorough and also very mindful of what needs and does not need to be done. It's rare that you find an empathetic healthcare professional who gets it and someone who is a master of her craft with a level of skill unlike anything I've ever experienced. I know a lot of people fear the chair of a dentist but I actually look forward to my time with Dr. Assadi. I'm happy to see her and her wonderful staff in my hometown of Alexandria. Although, I would follower her anywhere.

Dr. Assadi and her dental assistant Jenna are phenomenal. Dr. Assadi is always on time and is super mindful of you. Her bedside manners are what you wish every doctor had. I had so much anxiety about having a procedure and she was just so wonderful. She talked to me the entire time, walking me through her steps and really made everything so painless. In fact, I wont see anyone else. I have a fear of needles and she is the ONLY one I will let around me with a needle. I no longer dread the dentist (I wish I could say the same about all of my doctors appointments). I highly recommend her and wont see anyone else.

Dr. Assadi and Nisrine are excellent! Both were very professional and attentive. I have had two onlays put in by Dr. Assadi - both of which I would deem more art than science! She is truly an expert in her craft.

Let me begin by saying that this was one of the best visits to a dentist I've ever had!!!! The booking process at Dr. Assadi's office was easy and efficient. I had all the forms filled out prior to the appointment and the check in was quick and easy. There was absolutely no waiting time in the lobby and before I knew it, I was sitting in Dr. Assadi's chair. I came in for a check up and a cleaning but walked away with so much more than that. Dr. Assadi really takes her time to assess your dental needs and most importantly, to educate you in the process. Unlike my previous experiences, with Dr. Assadi I truly felt empowered and confident that what she recommended was exactly what I needed. She's also extremely gentle and really takes her time with her work, even if it's something as simple as a cleaning. Thank you Dr. Assadi for such a positive experience.

I have been a patient at both Fairfax and Reston locations and have had an overall exceedingly pleasant experience at both. Starting from the friendly front desk greeting me and checking me out to the hygienists who are fantastic to the doctors & assistants. I have been treated by both Dr. Dang for my implants and Dr. Assadi for almost everything else on several occasions (root canals, extractions, crowns and fillings). I knew I needed a lot of work since I had work done overseas many many years ago so I did my research and so happy I found this office.

These doctors really care and take the time to explain my treatment plan and options to me and what needs to be done first and how to go about it. It's really hard these days to find such caring professionals that really enjoy doing what they do - it shows! They explain x-rays & take pictures to show in real time what is going on in my mouth.

The offices are nice and Reston is new and beautiful with what seems to be the latest innovations. There are a ton of dentists in the area and I have tried quite a few but I feel super comfortable going to Dr. Dang and Dr. Assadi and in a strange way I look forward to it because of how friendly & accommodating the staff is, including the sweet assistants! If you want to know what's going on in your mouth and get the right treatment, THIS IS THE BEST PLACE so look no farther! Thank you Optimal Dental Center!

I am new to the area and was in the market for a new dentist. My friend recommended Contemporary Dentistry so I tried it out. I received a cleaning and an exam. I have never had a dentist spend more much time with me. Dr. Assadi really took the time to make sure I understood what was going on with a couple of my teeth, showing me pictures and explaining the procedures to fix the problem areas. I really felt like I was the center of her attention. Overall I had a great experience and would definitely recommend her.
