Biography
Dr. Phane was born and raised in St. Petersburg, and spends her time away from the clinic with her family. She is fluent in Laos to help serve even more of her community. Dr. Phane has been in the field of dentistry for over 13 years. She started as a dental assistant in St. Petersburg, Florida, and found her way back home as Dr. Brayer’s associate. In 2007, Dr. Phong Phane graduated from the University of South Florida with an undergraduate academic degree in Chemistry with a minor in Biology. She was then accepted into the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville, Florida. In 2013, Dr. Phane obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with special recognition in Operative Dentistry. After completing her doctorate coursework, she was accepted into a highly-regarded dental residency, the UF College of Dentistry Advanced Education in General Dentistry in Seminole, Florida. She worked side by side with world-renowned dentists, and gained valuable experience in advanced dentistry with occlusion, TMJ disorders, dental implants, periodontal surgeries, prosthodontics and endodontic procedures. Since her start in dentistry, Dr. Phane has built upon her expertise by becoming a Fellow in the International Congress of Implantologists and is an active member of the West Coast Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentists, the Florida Dental Association and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Phong Phane is an excellent dentist whose precise diagnosis is fascinating. She answers questions and solves problems with knowing the exact questions to ask then really listens to her patients. Her restorative dentistry is beautiful and consistent. I know when I refer my friends and family to her that they will love and trust her from day 1. Her team is amazing as well. Her shots are painless! I had to convince my kid that she really did use a needle to get him numb because he was positive that she didn't! She stays on time even if it means she gets her patients from the reception room herself. She is a servant leader and I appreciate working with her so much. I've been with her since 2001 and at Creating Smiles Dental with her since she started. (We were assistants together and I became a hygienist and she's a dentist with an extensive skill set including dental implants.)
