My father began seeing "robot" -like doctor at age 65, after his long time internist retired. This doctor does not look you in the eyes, he does not smile, he does not even greet you properly, He only looks up from his notes if he has a question, and then it's own to bloodwork. BUT MY BIGGEST BEEF WITH THIS TERRIBLE DOC IS THE FACT THAT DESPITE MY FATHER"S ANNUAL PHYSICAL, AND MY FATHER'S AGE WHEN HE BEGAN SEEING HIM, 65, SHOAF NEVER GOT MY FATHER A COLONOSCOPY TO DETECT FOR EARLY SIGNS OF COLON CANCER. IT WASN'T UNTIL MY FATHER WAS 71 -- six years -- and was complaining of stomache cramps that he thought to order one.
