Dr. Wright spent over 1 hour with me, mostly using an interview to get more information about my symptoms. His mind was obviously quite focused on the questions he wanted to ask and he stopped me when I tried to interrupt. We either got around to my questions or I was able to add those to the end of our discussion. Dr. Wright carefully went over his findings and why he came to certain conclusions. He then offered a range of treatment options, explaining each in depth. Reviews caused me great concern before I met Dr. Wright. I should not have worried. When I respectfully let him do his job and use the mind and experience I had hired, everything went smoothly. He was generous with his time and proactive about immediately finding MRI results that were supposed to be in my file but were not. Highly highly recommend!

I agree with the others who have posted negative reviews. This guy is what gives medicine a bad name and why more and more people have extremely little faith in doctors.

Her appointment was scheduled for 1:15. We arrived at 1:00. We were called to a room at 2:30. He appeared at 2:45. He would ask questions and cut her off. He did the same thing to me. He told us numerous issues weren’t his job. He was rude. He told us all of her doctors should have diagnosed this issue years ago. He pretty much treated us like we were morons.

He had diagnosed my mother within moments of seeing her chart. The tests proved his theory to be incorrect. However, he insisted that his original diagnosis was the correct one and he would see us in 2 months. I wouldn’t count on it.

This man is stuck on himself, and will totally ignore your opinions and concerns you may have. He is all about medicating you and not about what is the root cause of your ailment. He will constantly remind you that he has a medical degree (probably a C average student). He will ignore the fact that you have drug allergies, just to put you on meds that he gets kickbacks for prescribing. If you disagree with his recommendations he will not work in your best interest. This man is sketchy and he probably hurts more than he helps. He ignored every side effect I reported to him, as if it couldn't have been the meds he prescribed, because he has a degree. This man will destroy what health you have, and get away with it because he has a degree and a medical license. Ask for some other neurologist if your visiting Semmes Murphy, this man is sketchy and its all about him and his degree.

This Dr is a piece of work. The specifics in the bad reviews are exactly what I experienced. I don’t need a dr with a warm personality. But this dr is borderline verbally abusive- shockingly hostile, insulting, and impatient. Completely inappropriate for any social interaction, much less a dr/pt relationship. Will not be going back...

Repeatedly ignored second opinions from places like Mayo clinic and Lebonheur. Dismissed concerns I had on medicine and ignored new symptoms. I lost my ability to read under his care because he convinced me that my eye doctor at Southern College of Optometry had no idea what he was talking about. If you go to him, you can expect to spend over an hour in the waiting room and to be treated rudely without bedside manner

Dr. Wright has always appeared aloof and arrogant during our visits. However, his actions today were shocking. He was outright rude to my elderly father and handicapped brother. He refused to listen to the family. Further, he refused to work with the brain specialist who had been dealing with my loved one for almost 20 years. He didn't want any input, wouldn't LISTEN to any alternate opinions and refused to treat as we wanted. He was pushing narcotics rather than trying to find a solution to muscular aches. After years of dealing with brain injury and stoke specialists, physical therapy and physiatrists, etc., I would not recommend Dr. Wright to anyone. Sadly, it seems his ego has affected his ability to be a caring physician.

Dr. Wright does not listen to his patients and spends little time listening without a proper neurological exam. He hands out medications and when they don’t work, he does not listen to why you can tolerate the drug and just a writes another one.

This is the worst doctor!! He spent all of 10 minutes with me and then gave me a script. Did NOT listen at all. Acted like we were bothering him. He did not look at any of my records or my referring doctors notes!

I had to sit in the parking lot for 20 minutes after my appointment just to be able to pull myself together and stop crying. I don't think I have ever been treated so rudely before. I was so distressed about how difficult a visit this was that I decided to see if I was the only one that this had happened to. Like one other review , I wish I has read these before I went. He was quite irritated that I was there and there was absolutely no discussion He had .a speech that he intended to make and no interruptions were allowed!! I know I will not be able to go back
