Biography

A fellowship-trained corneal surgeon, Dr. Jamison Engle is dedicated to providing compassionate care to patients in the wider Reno area. Dr. Engle offers a range of leading vision repair and enhancement procedures, including cataract surgery, refractive lens exchange, and keratoconus treatment. Dr. Engle earned his undergraduate degree with honors before matriculating at the University of Iowa for medical school. He then interned at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for one year. Dr. Engle completed his first fellowship at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at the University of California, Los Angeles. He remained at the Jules Stein Eye Institute to complete his residency training under leaders in the ophthalmology field. Dr. Engle was accepted to a second fellowship, in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery, at the University of Colorado, which stands as one of the top two clinical fellowships in the nation.
