Dr. Garibaldi is fantastic. She listens, takes the time to do a thorough examination and has a way of making the patient feel comfortable. Truly a gem!

Dr. Karen Garibaldi was located in West Hartford, CT at an office with the University of Connecticut Health Care Center, when me and my daughter both received treatment from her. She was very thorough and kind and she referred me to a Occupational Health because my cough she said sounded bad and sounded "like more than a cough" and this was in consideration of other issues like my scalp infections which I showed her. The office that I worked in was filthy and had dirt coming out of vents, and seemed like there was mold and mildew as well. I was developing asthma at the time. I appreciate her care and concern. And I wish her well.

Dr. Karen Garibaldi was the first doctor to not dismiss my symptoms as colds. She got my asthma under control for the first time in my life. She has called my house to check on me when I was having a really hard time. She always listens and will go the extra mile to help you get the best possible care. My whole family now sees her and we are all pleased with the service we receive. She is laid back, and takes all the time you need to explain your needs.

Dr.G is too laid back not hands on and appears to just agree with want you say. No follow up! I complained about the same thing for years and finally went for a second opinion and they found out want the problem was. I believe she thought that I was faking so she said what every appeased me for that momemt.

First visit to Dr. Garibaldi and it was a very pleasant one. She does seem very "hands on" which was a tad awkward for me since I am a male. But she was very through. I mean more so than any doctor I've gone to. But it was worth it for peace of mind. The only thing I felt that wasn't up to par was the assistant. She seemed very agitated and rushed. Not very warm at all. I was told to change into the gown so I waited for her to leave the room. After about 30 seconds she again said you can go ahead and take everything off. I asked if she was going to leave the room and she snapped at me with "Of course!!!!!" an odd moment if you ask me. but overall Dr. Garibaldi was very helpful and even though she went into areas I'd never want examined I appreciate it since it is important for my health. I would recommend.
