I never leave reviews, but I’m so disappointed with my experience today that I feel it’s warranted. I have many moles in the region on my back that my family doctor flagged as concerning. I couldn't point out exactly which one my doctor referred me for. I expected to be examined in the general area of concern, just in case her trained eyes detected additional abnormalities. I wasn't examined at all. The office then reached out to me to book a surgery date … but I wasn’t examined!

I can't rate knowledge because nothing relating to dermatology was even discussed.

Very abrupt woman and does not listen at all. Wasted my time which isn't great because it's very hard to see specialists in this day and age in Canada.

I travel between Florida and Canada and have seen many doctors in both sides of the border. Dr. Alam is one of the best! Very knowledgeable and caring. If I need a dermatologist I come all the way back to Barrie to see her. Best of the best!!

My visit was very courteous, efficient and on time. Everything was explained to me in detail and a followup visit was booked as per my request. I was very happy and satisfied.

The doctor I encountered was extremely disappointing. They refused to entertain my questions or provide any insight into my condition. Instead, they made me feel foolish for seeking information and wouldn't even allow me to explain my symptoms. It was a frustrating experience, especially after waiting for months to see them.

I had a very nice experience - doctor Alam saw me around noon and bookef for a biopsy an hour later.The waiting time was acceptable, the nurse who did the biopsy was very caring and nice and my follow up appointment was booked right away. all like an oiled machine!!!

Abusive, ignorant behaviour.
She told me I was "just like the rest of them" -- I guess she was referring to her clients.
Well, perhaps I am just like the rest of them.
No I do not recommend Dr. Alam.
Barrie needs more dermatologists.

Condescending and dismissive, zero thought for the long delays in the waiting area and what appears to be a conscious effort to generate more appointments than necessary. I assume she is as knowledgeable as any other Dermatologist.

Dr Alam is a great doctor with very good knowledge of skin and very very caring. I have been her patient for 3 years and always happy to be under her care. My health has improved a lot because of her and I am very grateful
