Dr Zaydman is a fine Doctor! Very intelligent and has very good people skills! I asked her why she was nice to me cause most Pain Doctors treat you like you aren't worthy of their time! That we are all addicts!! Dr Zaydman works to truly find out why a person is having such chronic pain issues and helps us try to heal what we can and learn to live w and function w what is not fixable! I have degenerative bone disease torn meniscus in both knees injured rotary cuffs in both shoulders a broken right hip severe arthritis in my left hip and osteo-arthritis ravaging my whole entire body and a survivor of cancer. But I'm treated badly by most pain doctors and regular Drs and Internists except Dr Zaydman! She told me she had worked w people of all economic classes and has compassion for the needs of the human involved no matter who they are or what class of people we are, if we truly are seeking help, she will try to help us! She's so smart and caring! I wish she could teach a whole lot of Doctors that are lacking in people skills, what they truly became Doctors for besides the Paycheck! God Bless you Dr Zaydman you are the full Representation of what a Doctor stands for! Thank you for all of us that you have healed and tried to heal and save! You are the "Best"!

I went to see Dr. Zaydman in 9/2016 for chronic pain that started 11/2012 after I was injured in an assault. Since early 2013 I've been using physical therapy & medication to alleviate the pain although it wasn’t until early 2014 that I found the right medication that has allowed me to live a relatively normal life. My doctor was retiring in the fall of 2016 & I needed to find a doctor to take over my pain management.
After filling out the paperwork before my appointment at Valley Pain & Wellness, before I met Dr. Zaydman, I was brought into a room by an assistant where I was told 8 pints of my blood were needed for tests. I explained my condition, that physical therapy & medicine has worked great for me for years & told him that I didn't understand why 8 pints of blood were needed. I've seen several specialists like orthopedics & spine specialists, my doctor has over 35yrs experience & I've also done research on my condition so I knew that no blood should be needed in my situation -especially not 8 pints of blood. He informed me that Dr. Zaydman has unusual methods & it was simply required for all patients on their 1st visit.
The assistant was very pushy about drawing my blood, was invading my personal space & kept grabbing for my arm. I continued to tell him that I didn't see any reason that much blood was needed for a patient with a diagnosis of degenerative disc as he continued trying everything to talk me into. This went on for at least 5 minutes. I also explained to him that normally I'm uncomfortable with blood draws under any circumstances, but also that I'm understanding & have given blood when it had to be done.
Due to the fact that I knew Dr. Zaydman didn’t need 8 pints of my blood for my condition, as well as the creepiness of the assistant's lust & determination to have my blood, I told him there was no way I was doing the blood draw & asked for any other options. That didn't stop him from trying to persuade me but I guess he finally gave up after when he realized that it he really wasn't pointless to keep tryingbto talk me into giving him 8 pints of my blood. He told me he was going to speak to Dr. Zaydman & left the room.
I immediately called my doctor's office on my mobile phone & I was speaking to them when the assistant reappeared with Dr. Zaydman. They both began speaking to me like I wasn't talking on the phone & I explained that I was on the phone with my doctor's office. I had to leave the room because Dr. Zaydman & her assistant kept interrupting my call so I told them that I'd be right back, left the room & went outside to finish my call in the parking lot.
I made an appointment to see my doctor for the next morning, went back inside, told the front desk that I was going to get a 2nd opinion & asked for the list of tests that they needed 8 pints of blood for. They gave it to me & I left after telling them that I'd be in touch.
During my appointment the next morning, my nurse was able to explain what the tests were & told me that although none of the tests should be needed, there were about 3 tests on the list that could possibly be related to my treatment. The other 5 or so tests, for things like my prostate, she didn't see any reason that any of them would be done at a pain management clinic & then my doctor said the same thing when he came in to see me. I made an appointment for another pain management clinic & never returned to Valley Pain & Wellness to see Dr. Zaydman although I did call to let her office know.
The other issue I had with Valley Pain & Wellness is that I discussed things with them when I called to make my appointment. The receptionist told me what to expect & that some bloodwork may be needed. I made it clear that I didn't like having my blood drawn & that I'd prefer almost any other option to which she replied by assuring me that other things could be worked out. The entire experience made me feel like there was some kind of scam going on at Dr. Zaydman’s office, maybe to bill insurance for unnecessary tests, I don't know, but it was very strange & I've never experienced anything like that from any other clinic -including the pain management clinic that I went to after Valley Pain & Wellness.

Ask questions, do review of past history. Her previous employment was in New Jersey and in St. Paul. You may want to know why she is not still employed @ Britton Clinic in St. Paul. Even though they cannot tell you why, you should thoroughly research this person before taking the plunge. Check for complaints @ the MN Board of Medical Practice. You may be surprised if you were to speak to previous pts. As someone who has experienced her and the tactics she has used. If I had to do it over again and had the choice of seeing her or my dogs

After my experience with this D.O. I can only caution potential patients to review and comments made by previous pts., and her work experience. She has worked in Minnesota and New Jersey. Also, if you are able, do a thorough background check on this D. O. Her track record will give you an idea of what kind of person she truly is. After personal experience with her I would advise anyone who is seeking a patient friendly, respectful Doctor to find one.

I met with Dr. Zaydman at the Britton Center it was my first visit and i was very impressed with who knowledgable she is.She reviewed all my medications with me , was very detailed in explaining what they do exactly and how they worked , she gave me ideas on other things i can do too that i had not tried. She sent me for further testing and found out that i had vitamin D deficiency which can add to my pain symptoms and sent me for an MRI. I felt finally that someone understood my pain and i don't have to live like this i can do things to make it easier to live with it.. Thank you!

This Doctor is not very patient friendly. She was not concered about the health issue at hand and actually did things that made it worse. She was very unprofessional with the way she spoke with the patient and the personal comments that were made to him about his condition and his ability to be a man. She also made numerous comments about the other "quacks" that helped this patient previous to her. This was a first time visit and we were very insulted by her by the time that we left the office. I would not recommend her to anyone and we will not be returning to see her. This doctor should not be helping the public if she dosen't know how to talk properly to them and should not be practicing medicine if she dosen't want to help people.
