1 out of 5 , My husband had surgery in July 2016, Our first visit was caring, once we signed papers, it was different, she came out after surgery and told me he game me a run for my money and I nipped his spinal cord. When went back she treated my husband like garbage, kept on wanting to give him pain meds. Then he said he had no feeling from his groin to his foot, still 6 years and still has drop foot. I am amazed she’s still working. We tried to sue her, due to all the things he went and still is going through. She’s untouchable. Glad some had a good experience , but the things she said in front of her staff and nothing happened. Shameful!! Dropfoot !

She is a very qualified nuerosurgeon. She has done surgery twice on me and i would never go anywhere else. I total recommend her for her knowledge, compassion, bed side manner and looking out for the patients needs. Gwen who works up front is so educated and helpful. I can always call and she is so courteous and graceful. If she didnt have and answer she found out it for you. She has a wonderful medical assistant Tiffany and a great nurse practioner by the nane of Kathryn. They are all up to date on all medical conditions ans so is Dr. Shulman. Re ommend her 100% percent.

Dr. Shulman informed my friend she would operate immediately on a benign brain tumor. She said my friend would die a terrible death. After surgery she said all went well. My friend died 14 days later with out being able to communicate and totally paralyized. No explaination from Dr. Shulman. Six days after surgery Another doctor told us that Dr. Shulman had to make six incisions in the brain to remove the tumor. She verbally coerced the family into allowing this surgical disaster to occur.

I am a retired physician with a very complex c-spine collapse with myelopathy. She was confidant, capable and compassionate. I am 2 years post 5 level c-spine laminectomy. I am not "cured" nor am I pain -free but that is not her fault. I will always be grateful for the day I reached Dr. Shulman. I can not recommend her skills highly enough. I wish those who rated her poorly would be more specific about what exactly went wrong. The most highly trained and functioning physician in the world can "fix" that which is unfixable.

A fantastic surgeon. We looked extensively for a spine surgeon with minimally invasive experience. Most of the doctors we researched market themselves as minimally invasive but have little to no experience in those procedures. Dr. Shulman not only is very experienced, but has a wonderful bed side manner. We are thrilled to have chosen her.

Would not bother with her again. Unprofessional and the office seems disorganized. There are better options available.

My wife was in hospital for emergency surgery of a glioma. We had no prior knowledge of Dr. Shulman and had to leave everything up to her. It's now been a week post-op and everything looks terrific. My wife is doing well and feeling well. My only comment might be that I only saw her twice, once before the surgery and a phone call after. It would have been comforting for me to have been able to speak further, but in hind-sight probably not easily done considering her schedule and demand. Overall, I'm overjoyed to have my wife back and grateful to have chanced upon Dr. Shulman.

I am 5 months post-op, right front temporal lobe meningioma. Dr Carrie Shulman is awesome! She was very thorough and knowledgable. She gave me her professional opinion, yet allowed me to make my decision. She walked me through what to expect during my surgery and post-op. Dr Shulman and her team held my hand through the entire process. Dr Shulman has impeccable bedside manners. She is very down to earth and really seems to have a passion for sincerly helping others. I consulted with 4 Neurosurgeons, including the Mayo Clinic. After much consideration and lots of praying, I knew that Dr Shulman was the best surgeon for me. I would highly recommend Dr Carrie Shulman and Morton Plant Neurosurgery.
