We were fortunate enough to be given an appointment with Dr. Yves Heloury for a consultation with our 12yr old son. His instant warmth and acknowledgement of us all, including our younger son, made us feel instantly at ease. Dr Yves listened patiently to our concerns and answered all of them with clear diagrams and explanations. He broke down all the medical terminology into easy to understand answers that gave us great comfort that one, we had done the right thing to see a specialist and two, that we could walk away feeling reassured and well heard. Thank you Dr Yves Heloury for your kind, patient and detailed consultation that never made us rushed or that we were wasting your precious time. Many a specialist could learn from your incredible bed side manner.

Professor Yves Heloury is a truly amazing and gifted man! Our son suffered from flank/ back pain for a while and deprived him of playing his passion of footy and basketball! We were told it was growing pains and my wife was taking him to chiropractors and osteopaths without any improvement! Enough was enough we were referred to Yves (what a blessing)and the problem of hydrophenosis was diagnosed immediately my son's right kidney was not draining properly which was causing all his back pain! Prof Yves explained the problem to us and even drew diagrams and what he was going to do to correct the issue! My wife and I felt so at ease with him and felt a whole weight lifted off our shoulders along with our stress.Within a few weeks our son was operated on and the problem was resolved with our son! He is now actively playing his sport again with no back pain what so ever and his kidney is improving significantly. We have nothing but utmost praise for him and his demeanour and bedside manner are impeccable he even came into to see us after the operation to explain how it all went and that we could go down into the recovery room to be with our son. He is the best in his field and we would recommend him without hesitation! Our son is back to his active self and we are so greatful to Professor Yves Heloury!!!

Our toddler son required surgery on his private parts - inside and out. We saw three surgeons and weren't fully comfortable with any until we met Prof. Yves. His bedside manner is immaculate. He is helpdul, kind, patient and professional. He explains everything in simple terms and is very comforting through this obviously difficult journey. We had the op a few days ago and whilst we expected him to continue his 5 star service throughout, my husband and I were surprised even to the extent he went to. He didn't call us after the op he found us and explained everything to us. We couldn't be happier and are utterly grateful. The Anesthetist he works with, which in my opinion is just as important as the surgeon, is fantastic also. One truly has to be comfortable 100% with the medical staff when leaving their young child's life in their hands and we are so happy that we found Prof. Yves. I would recommend him to everyone and would definitely go see him again if ever there was a reason. Truly amazing!

We were lucky enough to have the gorgeous Yves Heloury operate on our son today. Within the first few minutes of meeting Yves, we knew our son was in good hands. He is extremely knowledgable and from everything we have read, the best in his field. Yves has an excellent bed side manner and I feel, genuinely cares about his patients. Without a doubt, he delivered exactly what he promised at our initial consultation, a lovely looking result for our baby boy!

So happy I saw dr Heloury today. I am more than confident my son will be in very good hands. I felt trust immediately. He seems very lovely and obviously very very experienced. I was very impressed with his warm gentle manner when he consulted with my son, he used plain English to explain things and gave me a positive outlook toward things. I'm so glad that I saw him and would highly recommend him to any anxious mum who needs to see a clearly super knowledgable a Urologist. Thank you so much and for calming me and explaining everything so well. It's not often you find people skills coupled with expert knowledges.

Outstanding surgeon working at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne (RCH). When other doctors and nursing staff tell you how lucky you are to have Professor Yves Heloury treating your child you know you're on to a good thing. Very kind and reliable, cited to be the best doctor in the world in his areas of speciality. Very intelligent and knowledgable. Unassuming and accessible, no ego. I know of all the great doctors working in Urology at the RCH but if Yves ever moved I would travel to where he was for my child to be treated by him. I trust him and he very nice. Added bonus is that he has a gorgeous French accent!
