She was so worth the wait! She is utterly delightful and really knows her stuff. Thorough and patient. Very happy.

Has ok Endocrinology knowledge but her personality is pretty bad. Short demeanour, inflated sense of self etc.
Her knowledge is not bad but not to the level that she seems to believe it is. Emily comes across as believing she is “the expert of experts” but in reality her knowledge is pretty on par with other Endocrinologists I have seen so nothing special.
I suppose if all a patient has seen previously is a “ 5 minute in and out Gp” at a Medical Centre then she may look good by comparison, but I would not recommend. There are other better Endocrinologists that have both good knowledge and are likeable ( ie: who don’t believe their own hype).

When I first visited her I had several significant issues dealing with multiple organs and drug interactions. She was able to sort them all out by changing some drugs and calling me 2 weeks later to verify things were getting bette - which they were. She is very knowledgeable, and takes time to explain how the interactions were affecting me.
While her services are in high demand and she has a long waiting list I really appreciate the amount of time she was able to spend with me reviewing my problems.

I have never been spoked to in such a disrespectful way in my whole life as I was by Dr Emily Hibberts staff.Dr Hibbert herself is a cold, disrespectful stress head type doctor and it seems her staff in turn act this way too, in an attempt to impress her I guess. She is not receptive to any self reflection or improvement of bedside manner etc either and just becomes defensive and indignant. She seems to feel she is above criticism or improvement. It is clear that she has very poor stress management and this affects her clinical judgment and bedside manner.Treatment of patients often come from the “top down”.Ie:if registrars and receptionists see their senior doctors modelling misbehavior by acting disrespectfully to patients then they learn that behaviour too.

I don't go to a doctor to make friends I'm there for the best possible treatment I can find. Dr Hibbert has always done good by me. I trusted her with my life and continue too!

Awful to deal with. Would not recommended.I'm at a loss why a reviewer stated that she was kind as I found her anything but.

I don't understand some of the ratings here. I have been seeing Professor Hibbert for about six years now. She is always friendly, helpful, kind and patient. She never rushes you and is very thorough in her examination. She discusses treatment, plans with you, is very up to date (as you'd expect) and is happy to take into account her patient's point of view. I've seen some awful endocrinologists but Professor Hibbert is far and above the best.

1. Lacks humility (as many doctors do lol).Appears to be one of those types that perceives herself and her colleagues as being on some different level than the patients.
2. Quite old -school in the sense of having a presumption that patients will just agree with her diagnosis and go along with her treatment plan instead of working as a team with patients and valuing their input if they disagree with the diagnosis or wish to take a different treatment path.
3. If Emily Hibbert made efforts to practise self reflection and gained some humility, then she might be alright

I saw Dr Hibbert today with my wife again after 6 years, she was brilliant, had all our history at her fingertips. she was extremely professional and thorough, at the same time being caring and compassionate and took the time to explain things and made sure we understood and were comfortable with what was being proposed. We have had a fair amount of contact with medical staff with our young daughter having cancer, and would say Dr Hibbert is at the top . Highly recommend her to anyone in need of a brilliant endocrinologist
