Dr. Koicke is an eye surgeon who truly LISTENS to his patients!!! As a former Art Teacher and a life-long practicing Professional Painter, Ceramist, and Glass Artist, I searched & researched more than fastidiously for a surgeon to treat my major Art Tool-my Eyes! I had cataracts removed from BOTH EYES, as well as Laser Correction. Both operations were HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL:))). Pre & Post-Surgery Instructions and Care were clear, productive, and effective. Now, I do not need reading or distance/driving glasses!!! Yay! Dr. Koicke is definitely not in medicine for the $, or status. His service to humanity is truly visible; he also worked non-profit in a developing country treating the impoverished & destitute. Dr. Koicke is a GEM!

Dr. Koike is one of those one-in-a- billion doctors. He is keenly intelligent, is approachable and has a calming bedside manner, he welcomes questions, and fully answers every single one. He IS the best ophthalmologist in St. Augustine at the least. The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. TEN STARS! There isn't another doctor I trust more with my eyes.

Very impressed with Dr. Koike. Even on my first visit I felt like he was interested and concerned. Staff was friendly and efficient. The first time I was in and out quickly, The last visit was quite a while but was understandable because it was cataract post-op day.

Had cataract surgery with DrK, very successful. He is easy to communicate, addresses all my concerns and gives a very good informed consent before surgery . Pam in his office is a gem. She is always very helpful and willing to explain what's going on.

Dr. Koike and staff work together like a well-oiled machine...and they add the personal touch. From my first visit to my last, I was extremely satified. I also need to say the Pam Kinsey was also extremely helpful; when I had questions and phoned her, she promptly returned my calls and took time to put me at ease.
