Dr. Spencer removed his bandana "mask" during my office visit, and was offended when I didn't want to shake hands due to COVID. This practice does not appear to take the pandemic seriously. I tried to address it with someone in their administration, who claimed it had already been addressed with the doctor. This can't be true - I hadn't left the details of my interaction in my phone message. Perhaps the corporate culture encourages a lax attitude towards safety. Please avoid this place.

I broke my arm the last of July and Dr. Spencer performed the surgery I needed. I am 72 years old and have never been to any doctor that was kind, friendly, and caring as Dr. Spencer. The surgery was successful and I am basically pain free. He is truly the best!

He may be a good shoulder surgeon but I was extremely disappointed with his lack of response to my displaced elbow fracture. 1/3 of the joint was broken away and slipped down. He preferred the 'wait and see' approach. That approach has left my arm in pain and weak and an arm which is now deformed. It's been 3 months since I fractured it and I'm no better off than when I first broke it. It's fused all wrong and the pain and weakness prevents me from using my arm fully. I'm just mad at myself for not paying attention to my 6th sense. He has too much of an opinion of himself to really listen to what I was telling him. He had this know everything attitude. He said there may be cartilage broken off in the joint but again 'before we do an MRI, let's 'wait and see'. Not good enough. I have found another surgeon so hopefully this one will be a little more proactive. And let's hope it's not too late.

Dr. Spencer & his staff provided excellent surgical treatment and follow-up for my right shoulder. A reverse shoulder replacement was done approximately 1 year ago and my results could not be better. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Edwin E. Spencer for any type of shoulder surgery.

The front office is horrible. The staff was extremely rude with potential patients. Dr. Spencer was totally unprofessional during the visit. I would not recommend this doctor or staff--take your business elsewhere.

I had a complete shoulder replacement in March 2017 by Dr Spencer. Within three months I pretty much had full movement and after six months was pain free. I can not believe how smooth the procedure was, to include preop, the operation and post op. Dr Spencer and his staff were always available to answer any and all questions and concerns.
