Beware -Avoid this doctor at all costs, she is rude, nasty, and a liar - Do not make this major mistake I did in using her as your surgeon , she is now in New Jersey

I also needed a TAH resulting from a suspicious MRI showing bilateral ovarian masses. My primary gynocologist referred me to Dr. Varughese and upon our initial consultation visit I was remarkably impressed with her knowledge and expertise. She was affable, compassionate and soft spoken. I never questioned her altruism and therefore never felt the need to seek a second opinion. My pre-op consultation with Dr. Varughese on the morning of my surgery was reassuring and appeasing. I entered the OR with a feeling of tranquility which I believe certainly helped in my post-op recovery. I found her "bedside manner" to be kind, courteous and gentle. During what seemed to be an interminable period of time waiting for the biopsy report. Dr. Varughese and her staff were patient, sympathetic and amiable. Fortunately my results were negative for any disease with no further treatment necessary. I would recommend Dr. Varughese without hesitation or misgiving and know that you are in the best hands.

I did not care for Dr.Varughese she did my surgery .Her bedside manner was terrible. On my last office visit she was so nasty to me. I am glad I do not have to go back to see her again.

I had to have a TAH I was extremely nervous about having this done. After sitting down and talking with Dr Varughese I felt relieved. Her staff was extremely professional and caring. Anytime I had a question there was always someone that could help me. My phone calls were always returned within minutes. I never had to wait for my appointments. I highly recommend her and her group. I had my surgery done at Stonybrook. I am not a fan of hospitals (just ask Dr varughese) but I was taken extremely well cared for by her staff as well as the hospital staff. I would also like to say that Donna (RN) for Dr varughese was GREAT!!
