At first, I was referred to Dr Stelmach from a Mr Eric Cheng (Ophthalmologist ), situated at Eye Can C Optometry Williamstown, due noticeable vision defects Dr Stelmach recognized that I had excess skin over my eye lids and would need a Blepharoplasty Operation. This could not be performed immediately as both eyes were infected.
Pre Op treatment was explained to me, in which the information was easily understood. Dr Stelmach was concerned with my general health as well as the overall health of my eyes and reassuring me of a successful outcome
The Operation was successful, there was many Post- Opp follow up appointments, with Dr Stelmach, where the improvement of my eyes was quite noticeable, also she made herself available anytime to discuss any of my concerns. I am discharged now but I must give a big shout out to the team at Cabrini and Tiara who Co-ordinates everything.

Dr Stelmach was extremely professional, knowledgeable and patient in all her interactions with me (pre and post surgery) and took the time to explain what the surgery and recovery would entail. I have successfully recovered from bilateral blepharoplasty and ptosis surgery and have no scarring. I am very happy with the outcome and would highly recommend Dr Stelmach.

I recently had Blepharoplasty (removal of excess skin from eyelids) performed by Dr Maryla Stelmach. This procedure has been a great success, apart from appearance (took years off) I have noticed a significant decrease in headaches, muscles not having to work as hard to keep my eyes open.
Dr Stelmach is both thorough and reassuring but most importantly a wonderfully competent surgeon. I am very happy with my results.

Dr Stelmach was brilliant. She was so helpful with my eye concerns, and was very professional and kind. The operation she did on my eye went perfectly, and her post-op care was very clear. Her receptionist is also kind and helpful. Highly recommend.

I recently had excess skin removed from my eyelids and can honestly say my experience has been nothing short of exceptional both in consultations prior to undertaking the surgery and after care by Dr Stelmach. Dr Stelmach's attention to detail in explaining the procedure and ensuring I followed her homework after surgery has meant full recovery with no scaring. Absolutely love my new eyes.

My eyelids were drooping badly and I certainly had trouble seeing and unconsciously I was lifting my eyebrows. Visit to Dr Stelmach proved very reassuring and when she operated she said she had removed a lot of excess skin. I now have eyelids!!! I can wear makeup!!! Dr Stelmach is lovely and very thorough

I am an octogenerian. My eyelids had drooped exposing the red interior view. It was unsightly and an embarassment to friends as they conversed with me. Also, there was risk of infection.
Dr Maryla Stelmach tightened them and now I am socially acceptable once more. She is kind, concerned and competent.
Highly recommended.

I had blepharoplasty surgery for heavy eyelids with visual field obstruction in July 2023. The procedure was performed under sedation and local anaesthetic as a day case at Cabrini Hospital. Dr Maryla Stelmach is a very thorough, gentle and professional surgeon. Her explanation prior to the procedure and her very detailed written notes for my eye care postoperatively were exceptional. The clinic was fast to return calls when I needed advice post operatively. My eyes are fantastic, I have no noticeable scars and the freedom I feel from losing my heavy lids is a relief. I would highly recommend this oculoplastic eye surgeon.
