Dr. Strain takes the time needed to understand your issues. She takes copious notes, and refers to them during follow-up visits. Her advice has been spot-on, and she doesn't hesitate to refer me to specialists when that's necessary. She has my total confidence.

Dr. Strain treated me like a number. She was dismissive and had no empathy. She rushed through my appointment. I will be looking for a new provider.

Condescending, unapologetic, dismissive and abrupt- and we had been going for years thinking it would get better. It does not. She spends time typing and staring at her laptop, no eye contact and it’s as if every visit is the first time. She retains no knowledge of who we are. Sad and subpar behavior and we deserve a better standard of care. Never going back.

She spent a good portion of the appointment time trying to make me believe that I was being abused and referred me to see a social worker. I was there for IBS. She’s never has any idea what happened in the last appointment and she’s asked me how my Thanksgiving was at least separate 3 times. She obviously didn’t care enough to remember

I didn't have a good experience at her office. She doesn't take time to understand her patient's issues and concerns. I don't recommend this doctor.

I went to Dr. strain for extreme ehaustion before Thanksgivng 2014, she ran some test, thyroid and some others. She never got back to me. I was called by her nurse saying she had som other options to discuss with me. When I got there she did not even know what I was there for and when I asked her why she had never got back to me on the labs she said I could get another Dr. If I was going to be that way. She called the police and the yw ere at my door when I arrived home becasue she said I was suicidal. Unbelievable, a patient has no rights.... I have seen many dr.s,I have a kidney transplant, I have never experience anything like this.

If you’ve got something simple like a sprained ankle or a head cold, Dr. Strain is OK, but anything more complicated and needing a diagnosis, find another doctor. She put a great deal of effort into typing every detail into the computer, but beyond that she does not seem to be very knowledgeable nor very helpful . She plainly told me she did not know what was causing all my symptoms, but would not offer any referrals to other doctors or specialists who would be more knowledgeable. Instead she suggested physical therapy for just one of the many issues I was having, effectively ignoring everything else going on. As Donald Trump would say . . . “you’re fired!”

Went in with the such a bad, piercing headache I was ready to be admitted. She spends more time on the internet trying to figure out a diagnosis than engaging with me to try to gauge any potential underlying issues, level of pain/discomfort and simple empathy. The pain med she prescribed was such a low dosage that i got more relief from Motrin.
