Biography
Dr. Rob Dindinger is a resident clinical psychologist and holds a license to practice in the state of Utah. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in child and family therapy, after completing a prestigious clinical internship at Primary Children's Medical Center. He has worked in many highly regarded residential, hospital, and outpatient clinical treatment settings and has authored cognitive behavioral therapy workbooks on anxiety, depression, pornography addiction and psychosis. With over 20 years of clinical experience in a wide variety of settings, he continues to provide high quality psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups. His warmth, sense of humor, and compassionate nature combined with his extensive clinical expertise allows him to work well with all kinds of people including children, adolescents, and adults. His clients frequently report feeling a renewed sense of hope and desire to press forward after their first session. Dr. Dindinger has many clinical interests and has expertise in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, addictions, personality disorders, autism spectrum disorders, psychosis, parent-child relationship issues, parenting skills, and marital/relationship issues. Dr. Dindinger is originally from Juneau, Alaska. He is an outdoor enthusiast who loves to ski, fish, white water raft, and go on camping and hiking adventures with the family. Dr. Dindinger has an extremely caring nature and believes it is important to connect with and invest in the people he works with. He finds his work as a therapist rewarding and values the time he spends crying, laughing, and being with people from all walks of life. He feels privileged to walk with them awhile on their path.
