Just want to say I give Dr Demeter a 10/10! I have a severe fear of the dentist and have been in the process of getting a dental implant. This has been a very lengthy process with mt first surgery being a bone graft and now getting the screw put in. However, both times my surgeries have been pain free with very manageable recovery. My pain has been very minimal. Dr Demeter has such a calming vibe and I will forever be grateful for her! I cannot wait to see the final result

I was referred to Dr. Demeter from my dentist to get a skin graft to repair my gums. She wowed me from the start. She was very kind and welcoming. During the assessment she was able to answer any questions and concerns I had, and take away the worry I was feeling. During the physical assessment of my mouth she was almost robotic in her speed and precision figuring out if I was eligible for the surgery going through all of my teeth and gums. It was incredible to witness. The surgery went through without a hitch, and my mouth has since healed and looks great.
Overall, Dr. Angela Demeter is a true professional in her craft with a friendly disposition and welcoming attitude. If I ever require a Periodontist again, she is the only doctor I want to see. I can't emphasize enough how good my experience was, considering I was going in for surgery.

I was referred to Dr Demeter by my dentist. I have had issues with my front tooth for over 2 decades since I fell as a child. My dentist suggested that I get an implant as I was developing swelling and pain. It has taken over a year with both gum and bone graft to get the area ready for the implant and the crown overtop. I am so thrilled with the result, as my implant and crown look far better than the crown that was on my original tooth.

While it was not a pleasant experience losing my front tooth, I’m so glad that I was in the hands of Dr Demeter. She is so kind and professional, and clearly very skilled. I was also very impressed with the care that I received from her staff. The transparency with the cost allowed me to be prepared, and the follow up care was excellent. Highly recommend this office and Dr Demeter!

From the original consultation, through a difficult Covid Shut down to the dental surgery procedure, this team from South Calgary Periodontists were wonderful. Their communication is professional while friendly, their attention to patient's needs admirable. The surgery itself was handled with Dr. Demeter and her assistant with care and great attention was paid to my needs as a person including just enough information throughout to raise my confidence and minimize the stress associated. The surgery went well , I was treated with great respect and care upon the protocol of payment afterward from the administrative team and given three phone numbers to call if there was a need. Follow up continued with a "day after" call from Dr. Demeter who again made me feel important through her insightful questions about my post surgery condition. Again, the offer to call with concerns was offered.
I am so impressed with this amazing team. I would recommend this group to anyone, especially with those who are a little apprehensive. They really work hard at making you feel calm, important and well cared for.

I was referred by my dentist to Dr. Demeter for implant surgery. I was anxious at first due to my experience with another doctor. I had no need to worry. Dr. Demeter is a kind, gentle, knowledgeable professional. I needed bone and gum grafting along with the implant. Both went smoothly with no pain, took Advil only for next few days. Very little swelling also. Dr. Demeter takes her time during the procedure and allow breaks if you need it.
Wonderful staff ! Highly recommended!

Three weeks ago I had some bone grafting done by Dr. Angela Demeter and it was a very professional, and comfortable, experience. Dr. Demeter explained everything to me clearly and was patient and helpful with my questions. She froze my gums up really well, and she is very good at giving pain-free injections! The surgery took about 1.5 hours and I was kept comfortable and reassured throughout. I received great after care instructions from her assistant, as well as prescriptions for an antibiotic and painkiller if needed. I found that Ibuprofen was sufficient and it kept swelling to a minimum. And I had absolutely no bruising from the procedure! Dr. Demeter provided her personal cell phone number should I have needed to call her, and her assistant contacted me a couple days after the procedure to make sure I was doing well and to answer any questions. I was back to Dr. Demeter yesterday and she removed the stitches and did a post-op exam. My gums have healed up nicely and everything is looking good! I feel confident that the next steps of the procedure will go well under the excellent care and expertise provided at South Calgary Perio. The office's treatment coordinator has been very helpful in scheduling my needed appointments for the next steps and in coordinating with other professionals that I will need to see. This is greatly appreciated as I fly in from northern Alberta for these appointments and the office has been considerate of my scheduling needs and helped me to book well in advance, and has been patient when I have needed to switch appointment days and times around to accommodate flights. I am grateful for all their caring and compassionate staff, and for the skilled professionalism I receive at South Calgary Perio. Thank you so much.

Extremely professional! Very knowledgeable, absolutely beautiful person and high quality dental doctor, I will strongly recommend her to anyone who has implants or willing to do so!
