Rude. Always late to scheduled appointments and only walks into the office to see a patient after other staff have done whatever hands on work needs doing. Rather than bash her abilities which is not kind, I will just say that I felt more appreciated going through the Timmies drive thru than by this doctor.

Do not go see this woman!!!!! She’s going to kill someone one day!!! I had gestational diabetes with my pregnancy and she prescribed me insulin. Every week I would get a call to increase my insulin from her dietitian. I bottomed out 3 times in 1 week and this psycho of a doctor says “well you know the signs of when your sugars are low, so increase your insulin and if it feels low just drink some orange juice”. This dumb woman is lucky that I was smart and listened to my own body and questioned her every move! Might I add I am a nurse and know what she is doing is wrong!!!! Do not trust people just because they have a medical degree and question things that don’t seem right! I don’t understand how this woman is allowed to be practicing still. Do yourself a favour and get a different doctor!!!!! She clearly gets a cut for insulin cause that’s all she does, increase your insulin and prescribe you more!!!!

Do not waste your time seeing this doctor. She will not even walk in the room during an appointment. The assistant does all the work. I would give her less than 1 but that is not an option.

I was actually afraid to see Dr. Salam after reading the comments below BUT she was very nice, helpful, and patiently explained my options. I am glad I kept an open mind and gave her a chance.

Very rude and does not have any advice on how to deal with symptoms just what she read in a journal somewhere... No real world knolwedge about Diabetes

Horrible and worst experience. Dr Salam has no bedside manor. She just told me I was fat and needed to lose weight. She refused to answer my questions and rushed me through the entire appointment. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Newly diagnosed and had manybquestions etc a d she didnt care. Wouldnt answer any of them had he intern do 95% of the appointment and ended it with i have over 20yrs doing this im right and yiu need to stop asking questions etc. That was the last time we saw her. Absolutely no bed side manners
