Fantastic dr/surgeon over the years he has repaired both of my knees and my wife’s knee with no complications my last one in December he preformed a hto as well as fixing some damage which should give me many more years before knee replacement which is what I thought I was up for going by what a different doctor had said i might have to consider, so thank you doctor Astori you have made mine and my wife’s lives better and more active thanks Darren and sue Kickbusch

We have had a wonderful experience with Dr Astori in managing my son's complex medial meniscal tear, especially since he wanted to return to elite sport. He was professional and compassionate and provided the utmost care and effort in repairing his injury. Dr Astori saw us and then also called after the surgery to ensure that he was well and provide further advice to help him feel more comfortable. With the help of the excellent physiotherapists that work with him, my son has made a rapid recovery and is looking forward to playing sport soon.

Dr Astori performed a limb lengthening procedure on my left femur to correct a leg length discrepancy. I have had 2 surgeries with Dr Astori and am very glad to have had him as my surgeon. Dr Astori is very easy to talk to and knows what he is doing, all of his team are great too.

A fantastic surgeon that I can highly recommend to anyone requiring his skill set.
Dr Astori has replaced both my knees, performed arthroscopies and knee repairs on my husband and son both of whom speak very highly of this amazing surgeon.
I never felt under any pressure from Dr Astori as he patiently discussed my surgeries, rehabilitation and after care following knee replacement surgery, twice.
I will see him again in the future when I am in need of the hip replacement we have recently discussed. I have the utmost faith in this surgeon and will not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing his services.

I would highly recommend Dr Ivan Astori, his team and the Mater Private Hospital. After asking me a lot of questions and looking at the scans, x-rays and my 10 year old bilateral knee arthroscopies report he recommended Bilateral Patellofemoral joint replacements an option that I didn’t know existed and one that excited me.
• Dr Astori and his staff are easy to talk to and contact
• Offered me an alternative to full knee replacement
• Flexible dates for the operation
• Robotic Assisted Knee Replacement
• Use of a femoral nerve block which controlled pain post-surgery
• Dressings with a moisture evacuation pump attached so my dressings weren’t disturbed until my post-operative check-up – reduced any chance of infection
• Dr Astori personally rang my wife after the surgery
• Daily Physiotherapy – use of knee CPM
• Cold Therapy Ice machines with pads 3 weeks post-surgery
• Mater Private Hospital – great nurses, chef and facilities

Having had Two total hip replacement performed by Dr Ivan Astori this year May-August 2019 , I can highly recommend his services, the difference the operations have made to my life is unbelievable coming through the operation with a pain factor of zero also helps thanks to Dr Astori
I found Dr a story to be a very caring and accommodating surgeon and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who is considering using his service's

I am so pleased I was recommended to see Dr Ivan Astori for my knee replacement surgery. He explained about the surgery in common sense language and also patiently answered my many questions. Ivan is no doubt a very skilled surgeon and has an extremely caring attitude towards his patients. He deserves all the praise I can give him. I also cannot speak highly enough of Jo and Liz in his reception/office who answered my many emails promptly. I had been trying to organise this surgery from overseas (long story). It all worked out so well in the end and I'm delighted with the result. I'm making sure I'm working hard, with the Physio as well, to ensure his excellent surgery is not wasted. Alison J
