Dr. Safely is an AMAZING dr! He delivered me when my mom had me 22 years ago, and when she came to my 1st visit with me, he remembered her!! He’s very helpful and will answer ANY questions that you may have. His staff is very nice and I’ve never once had a problem with him. 10/10 recommend. I will refer everyone to him, and definitely want him to deliver my next baby!

We started seeing Dr Safely when we found out we were pregnant with our first child. Initially we liked him, he was helpful, answered all of our questions and gave us an idea of what to expect. However, when it came to my delivery I felt like his approach to things didn't really set me at ease. I was a failure to progress and even at 40 weeks he wasn't very willing to do an induction, he just wanted to keep waiting. Finally at over 41 weeks I went into labor in the evening, I had an epidural, but instead of giving me any pitocin he made me labor all night in the hospital. In the morning he finally gave the go ahead to start the pitocin and things starting progressing, but he was nowhere to be seen. I was crowning for almost 15 minutes before he even arrived in the room. My baby was stuck in the canal, he was going to give me an episiotomy but didn't because I ended up tearing in 3 places. Then, he also had to use the vacuum and finally after an hour of pushing my baby is out. But I don't even get to hold my baby, not before he finished stitching me up for the next hour. I know that maybe some of these might have happened regardless and he still managed to get my baby out safely. I just couldn't help but feel that I was never a priority to him. Sometimes it felt his mind was somewhere else, and it was like he only wanted to deliver the baby when it was convenient to his schedule over my own comfort and peace of mind. Now we are disputing with his office over insurance claims and I am seriously considering finding a new OB/GYN.

While he front office staff could certainly use a little lesson in customer service and relations, his back office staff are wonderful. Dr. Safely is one of the most caring and kind physicians and individuals I have ever met. He has walked beside my husband and I through several surgeries and hospitalizations. He was always available to answer questions and see his patients every day. I feel very fortunate to have found this physician two years ago.

Docter is nice and seemed to care however the wait to to see him was always at least thirty minutes past scheduled time. Do not choose this care provider if you have a job or cannot devote entire day to visit.

Overall Dr. Safely deserved a rate of 5. I have visited his office in different occasions. He is very receptive to patient’s concerns and does not hesitate to expend time with the patient and her family to discuss the plan of care. He will never make his patients to wait at the lobby because he is expending time with pharmaceutical vendors, he considers his patients as top priority. Her medical assistants provide excellent customer service and share the same commitment for excellence than the doctor. The front desk person is competent, but may benefit of having a pleasant smile which can make patient welcome to the office.

This place was awful. No pain meds for a biopsy and then contracted Strep B from the procedure. The receptionist was surly and the doc was always 30 minutes to an hour late. There was one great nurse there and I hope she has found work elsewhere.

I have been seeing Dr. Safely for approximately one year. He has always been very patient, understanding he answered all of my questions in a manner to which I understood. Dr. Safely takes time out to speak with my husband and I about all that is going on with me. He is honest. His staff is fantastic. I would recommend him to my friends.

Very caring and friendly doctor!! He really takes time with his patients. Although he runs behind sometimes, he always answered all my questions during my pregnancy. I felt like he really knows me and my concerns. I never feel rushed in the office. The staff are friendly and helpful: they always call me with my test results and make sure that I understand what they mean. I have and do recommend him.

I came across this website while I was trying to find Dr. Safely's office number. When I saw the ratings he received, I felt compelled to write a couple of comments about the service I received when I was a patient which was from 2007-2010. The only reason I left Dr. Safely was because I moved out of the state. Hands down, Dr. Safely was the best OB/GYN I've ever had. He handled both of my pregnancies. He was honest, knowledgable and patient. He answered all of my questions and I felt he knew me and my husband. During my first pregnancy he answered all of my questions (even the "silly" ones) patiently and without out making me feel stupid (as some doctors can do). My only complaint was in the area of punctuality. However, once I was in the exam room I never felt rushed or hurried. He's a great doctor and I highly recommend him. Regarding the advanced payment for some services: this is a common practice and isn't limited to just his office. Lots of doctors do that these days.
