Biography
Attracted to the simplicity, power, and mystery of Chinese medicine, Kate decided to study acupuncture in order to offer its gifts to others. Kate received a Master of Acupuncture degree from the Maryland University of Integrative Health (formerly Tai Sophia Institute) in 2013. In addition to acupuncture, she incorporates Gua sha and cupping therapy into her practice to relieve pain and improve mobility. Beyond treating pain and the physical body, she especially enjoys using acupuncture to heal emotional, mental, and spiritual concerns. Kate has particular experience treating anxiety, trauma, digestive concerns, insomnia, fatigue, headaches, hormonal imbalances, menopause, allergies, congestion, and skin conditions. She also loves to work with clients to create changes to diet and lifestyle that are blocks to feeling well and living fully. Kate works with adolescents to the elderly.
