Highly recommended! Dr. R knows what he's doing. There are two of them - this is the son. I have been bringing my mother to see him for her cataracts. I will definitely bring him back if she has another eye problem. I hope I can be one of his patients if I ever need the help of an opthamologist.

I was sent to see Dr Rudinsky for an eye problem. He listened to my problems, explained the situation and wrote a prescription for some drops that fixed the problem in a few days. He was easy to talk to and the treatment worked well. I will be recommending him to my friends and family who have eye problems.

I am suffering from Diabetes. My Family physician referred me to Dr Weiss for annual eye check up for diabetic retinopathy, which is a grave complication of diabetes. Subsequently, he transferred my care to Dr Rudnisky as he has great interest in managing diabetic patient. Since last 4 years I have been followed by him. Before one year my eye pressure increased, he did the laser surgery in both eyes in timely manner now my pressure is normal, he saved me from developing Gloucoma. He is efficient, knowledgeable, competent and knows his work very well. More ever, very courteous and compassionate towards patient. He has empathy which is very rare in many doctors. He addresses all concern and very reassuring. I always encourage my friends with eye problems to see him and get his advice. In my opinion he is one of the best Opthalmologists in the city both in Clinical knowledge and behaviour.- Abu Syed Yakub

My mother has been attending Dr. Rudnisky's office in the Royal Alex Eye Clinic for the past four years or so. She goes once a year for glaucoma testing. We feel very comfortable and always are treated with kindness and warmth. He has done an excellent job of answering our questions and has taken all the time we needed to help us understand. These are necessary qualities when dealing with an elderly person. We also tell him he is doing a good job. I suspect Dr's need to hear that just like the rest of us because it doesn't happen very often.

I was referred from Fort McMurray as the ER doctor had called and they (RA Eye Clinic) deemed it an "emergency". He did nothing more than eliminate one prescription and tell us to come back in 2-3 weeks. I found him somewhat rude and belittling of Fort McMurray doctors. I realize there are not specialists there but surely we could have been refered to an optometrist to monitor the condition rather than returning so frequently.

Excellent in diagnoising my rare eye condition. Great staff as well and really felt the doctor was knowledgable in his area of expertise.

I was referred to Dr. Rudnisky for cataract surgery. I have an underlying eye condition called Retinopathy of Prematurity-that makes cataract extraction challenging and risky. Although I am considered legally blind, I have some vision. During the procedure, my replacement lense was dropped on the ground. Also, the procedure did not go as planned; a fragment of the cataract was left in the capsular bag. Later, it was removed in a separate procedure. I was told that a new lense could not be inserted. I feel that an older procedure involving incision instead of suctioning should have been used. What precious little vision I had left was further reduced. I was devastated. My life changed for the worse. To the doctor, I was blind before- now I was just more blind. He was uncaring, unfeeling, & defensive. I represented a failure to his success. I should have been referred to a doctor that had more expertise and experience with dealing with people with my particular eye condition.
