I have been seeing Dr Rudnisky for approx 18 years. During all of f my visits, Dr Rudnisky has been ver pleasant, always approachable, and has explained issues with my eye health very clearly. I always leave feeling assured that my eye health is being very well managed.
After wearing glasses for 54 years, I recently had cataract surgery done. Dr Rudnisky suggested an upgraded lens, and I gladly agreed. Now I have the BEST vision I have ever had. I also had stents put in to manage my glaucoma. I had a small issue with my left eye post operatively, but was given stellar treatment , once again confirming my trust in him and his team. The team at his Meadowlark office and at the Royal Alex Hospital are genuine in their desire to help you, and they are all very kind. Never have I felt like I was just a number and money with Dr Rudnisky.
Having this eye surgery was LIFE CHANGING.

I had high pressure in 1 eye that numerous optometrists and another opthalmologist were unable to fix or accurately diagnose for over 2 years. After 2 years of intermittent eye pain and pressure spikes, I saw Dr. Rudnisky. Within 10 minutes he told me the diagnosis, and how it could be fixed with a laser. Dr. Rudnisky took the time to answer any and all questions I had - he was reassuring and I found him to be extremely knowledgable. Laser treatment worked - no more eye drops and pain in my eye. I'm very grateful to Dr. Rudnisky and his staff. I would highly recommend Dr. Rudnisky.

Found him to be dismissive and unwilling to explain patien concerns. Very abrupt leaving one to feel that he was only concerned with volume and not patient care.

One year he says I need cataract surgery and will book me into the hospital for it. The next year he says my condition doesn't warrant and AHC spot, but he'll do it in a nice private clinic for $8,000. Sounds more like a business decision than a medical decision. I won't be seeing him again.

Cataract surgery has become a production-line type of surgery - in, out, next. I had complications and it has taken several visits for Dr. Rudnisky to slow down enough to actually talk to me about the issues with my eyes. My situation is apparently one he has not encountered before with continued swelling and inflammation in both eyes. We are individuals, not numbers.

My vision was as good as when I was 18 years old after two cataract surgeries performed by Dr. Chris Rudnisky. His team in general has been very friendly, polite and helpful. I would highly recommend this doctor for your vision restoration.

Had cataract surgery done on both eyes this spring. He was thorough, professional and took the time to answer all my questions. He even had me come in before the second eye done to ensure i was comfortable in proceeding. Follow up care was top notch too. Would highly recommend this doctor for cataract surgery.
