I fractured all 5 of my metatarsals in my left foot and needed surgery. He was there every step of the way, with barely a wait for surgery, and has taken care of it every single appointment with so much patience and care. I am now back on my feet, and recommend him as a doctor to anyone who needs it.

I was referred to Dr. Lopez by the hospital 1st visit was in Orthopedic clinic where he gave me a cortisone injection which did nothing had a surgery scheduled then I was called and told it would need to rescheduled because of Covid-19 I was called a few months later with a new surgery date September 29th 2020. Was admitted to hospital didn't see Dr. Lopez until my first visit 2 weeks after surgery to remove staples, started physiotherapy the Friday after I was released completed physio still couldn't bend my knee then recommended a knee brace @ $500.00 a month for 4 months that didn't work called Dr. Lopez had another appointment and he told me and I quote " this is as good as it's going to get" it is now may of 2022 i still can't walk my leg from my knee to my foot stays swollen and it's thrown my back out of wack. Found another 3 surgeon's in Chatham going to make an appointment with one of them.
My advise find a better surgeon.!

Dr Lopez is the kind of surgeon everyone should have a visit wth. He is very thoughtful and courteous. My recommendation would be Dr Lopez all the way

Dr Lopez was on call when my father needed immediate surgery for a broken hip. He was fantastic. Surgery delayed for several hours due to backups in the operating room. My father is older and dr Lopez was as gentle and kind. He came back the next two days to see my dad. I was very grateful that he explained to him so well when I couldn’t be there for him. I have seen Dr. Lopez about 4 time he operated on my tows for hammer tows..First time it failed, but I got right back in to see him ,he said don’t worry he can fix’s it. Great caring Dr. And I love the way he talk to his patients..Good Bless Him..Orthopedic Surgeon

Wonderful Doctor! Worth the wait! Covid has made things way difficult for everyone. But dr Lopez is so kind and patient with me and my and all my ailments. He really cares and gave me options to proceed with what would work for me best. He was not pushy or arrogant like other Doctors I’ve seen in the past. It’s hard to believe that there’s still some good ones around that look out for the patient not just the money. So glad my doctor referred me to him. Long road ahead but I know I’m in such good hands. Want to let everyone know that the few negative posts are not a reflection of the care I received. Horrible time for everyone. Easy to blame everyone right now but we have to be kind to everyone right now.
