Dr Grabie is rude and does not care about his patients. It's all about business. When my mother was at Saint Johns hospital after she fell and broke her hip, he insisted that she go to Seaport Nursing Home for physical therapy before she was ready to go home. It was horrible. I ran into him a couple days after she moved there from the hospital and he was in the office with a man who looked out at me, made a comment in another language and laughed. They ignored me and might as well have shut the door in my face. Luckily I was able to move her to another facility right down the street. NIGHT and DAY!

My mother ended up under his care while in the hospital. He was impossible to get in touch with even during medical emergencies. When finally we did get in touch with him, he was unable to explain any of the medical care or even to answer the simplest questions.

One year ago I was admitted at Santa Monica UCLA Hospital on an emergency basis. Dr. Morris Grabie was the internist assigned to my case. He wrote four reports during my hospital stay, three of them had medical inaccuracies and irrelevant personal/subjective comments. After nine months of following UCLA regulations to have Dr. Grabie amend HIS multiple mistakes he has systematically refused to do so. I submitted letters and reports from other doctors (including UCLA physicians)who opposed his inaccurate statements but he still refuses to make any correction. Fortunately I will be able to take this case to a higher level but I wonder how any elderly person unable to think clearly could defend himself/herself from the dangerous consequences of this type of false, incorrect reporting. Based on my personal experience Dr. Grabie should not be part of the medical staff of a prestigious hospital. In my opinion, he is the worst doctor I have ever met in my long life.

Dr. Grabie is negligent and distracted and my father died a long painful death while hospitalized under Dr. Grabie's care. I will never forget the appalling care and neglect he rendered to my father, as the nightmare continues to haunt me, many years later.
