Arrogant. Lazy in reviewing history of patient which has resulted in compromised care. Wrote referral to another dr with incorrect medical history sighted. Appalling bedside manner. Avoid at all costs. A very traumatic experience.

Have been to Cabrini a lot since 2017 due to my wife's pancreatic cancer. Dr Shapiro is so knowledgeable, patient and helpful. He always gave us professional advice and help. We feel so lucky to have a good oncologist. Alan

I have just started being treated in this field and have been guided by my surgeon who referred me to Dr Jeremy Shapiro. I know nothing about this field and while he was a little late for our first interview (which could have been due to my asking for a later appointment), I found him to be perhaps a little abrupt with some comments he certainly seemed to explain the situation well for us and seemed to listen to our comments. Yes I could see perhaps the lack of bedside manner but this day was just a chat in preparation of further treatment. I am concerned about the comment below about him 'not having the respect of his colleagues' but further down he is greatly respected so??? I am not expecting any physical assessment as the bloods and various tests will indicate the changes and success of the treatment. I have no idea how to change Dr. at this stage so will be going with the flow which at the moment seems fine. I just want the cancer GONE!
