Dr. Lutterodt is like a breath of fresh air. He shows knowledge and skill and an enthusiasm in his chosen field. He gives thorough explanations and reasons for further testing. I feel privileged to be in his care.

Nurse was great, front desk staff and efficient. I had been referred to have a comprehensive overview of my various medical conditions. Was excited to see an internist with a cardiac focus.... What a disappointment. Almost no history was taken. He put emphasis on Netcare bloodwork results from 2+yrs ago. To his credit, he did do a physical exam, which some drs do not these days. He also had looked up other test results on Netcare. But his lack of curiosity and interest in my experiences was unacceptable. My understanding and history of my health issues matters as much as numbers in a chart. There's no point to go into an appt if what a patient says is irrelevant...

Worst Doctor ever .he set up a test at foothills that took 41/2 hr the staff there were excellent ,they said my doctor would have the results in two days .Its been 12 days when I call Lutterodt his people say they will TRY to contact him to get results. He is by far the worst Doctor I have ever seen

Excellent Doctor and the nursing staff and technicians are all very nice as well. I had not problem understanding Dr. Alfred Lutterodt, and consider him to be an excellent doctor.

I told Dr. Lutterodt that I had repeatedly experienced pains right in the heart. To my surprise, at the end of a visit he pronounced: "As you said it yourself, your pain is NOT in the heart". He interrupted each of my answers to his questions by waving his index finger in front of my face. I've never had such a weird experience. The staff and techs are very nice, however.
