I have seen this Doctor a couple of times and asked if he could bulk bill me, which he did the first time but the other day when i asked he started to tell me everything has gone up, and that he couldn't. He knew that I'm on a pension and so the answer was no. I found him a bit rude that day, He also said to me I should start counting my calories. I felt that he didn't care about my finance situation just worried about his own. I'm definitely not going back.

Dr Tafere Berhane is not just a great specialist but I'd go as far as to say he is one of the most sincerest and caring people I've ever known. Always gives a thorough health check and also cares about a patients life in general.

Cannot recommend this doctor more highly. He was very professional and so knowledgable. Great communication. His wife is very lovely.

Don’t waste your time or money.
Rushed through the appointment, gave me a script, and request forms for blood tests and scans, stuff my GP could have done for a quarter of the fee.
Wife on reception was very rude, only cared about getting my payment as quick as she could and made me book a follow up appointment for yet another hefty fee. Not impressed.

Lovely, lovely man with plenty of time to listen to all of my concerns. Explains everything fully. Never makes you feel you're at the end of your road. He always has options and explanations. Have seen him for several years now.

I thought long and hard about this review and decided others need to be made aware of my concerns. My first visit seemed about getting me out the door asap and just giving a standard script to everyone he sees. The second visit was no better just barn door servicing with yet another standard script. Not interested in listening to my symptoms and performing an actual diagnosis just interested in dispensing standardised pill treatments and collecting his fee. Would nor recommend

Didn’t listen to what I was saying was fixated on nerve pain and fibromyalgia. Couldn’t remember what dosage of drugs he had previously prescribed. Note taking on the bottom of his patient list during consultation.
