Dr Samy was a wonderful Doctor throughout my Cancer diagnosis, surgery & treatment. She was kind & thoughtful throughout, and was engaged throughout my entire experience. I have nothing but good to say about her bedside manner, timeliness, & concern for my well-being. She is very busy as she is the ONLY ENT Doctor in the area, so patience is necessary for service. I highly recommend her as an ENT Doctor.

I am going to be seeing this doctor soon after she cancelled my appointment twice now.It is over a year waiting list and I don’t not feel positive with her solving my issues .No doctor should let anyone leave a hospital with a bleeding ulcer . I have a family member that died from a bleeding ulcer geesh..

Waste of my time. Received a tonsillectomy 3 weeks ago. I am now bleeding like crazy, filling full large glasses of blood. Bleeding every 2 days and in emerge once. I spent thr night in emerge and also had an appointment with her the same day. The emerge staff wanted Dr Samy to decide what to do because she performed the surgery. She put a scope in my nose and told me that the area of the surgery looked fine and she couldn't see any signs of where the bleeding was coming from. She goes on to say that maybe I have an ulcer. She referred me to see a specialist to have a scope done to see in my stomach...after all that bleeding and spending the night in emerge, it should have been done the same day and not sent home. I was told if happened again go to emerge AGAIN and then it would probably be considered urgent and I'd bet the scope done. Are you kidding me?! Our healthcare system is just awful. If this were the states, this wouldn't be happening. So I have bleed again, 3 hours after leaving the hospital, so am I supposed to go back to emerge and wait another 10 hours when I was just there. She is a doctor and she would have had the power to request that scope to be done urgently. I wish I could post pictures of all the blood. She also didn't take me seriously the first time I told her about all the bleeding.

She was very kind and I was very panicked. She walked me thru everything including my injection .. She would be my choice if I had to have another procedure..

Not very helpful. Spent less than 5 minutes to say I have allergies. Duh. Done with this one for sure. Old dr Martin would dance circles around this doctor. Very disappointed and a waste of time.

Dr. Samy is one of the few ENTs practicing in the Chatham area. While her "bedside manner" is not great she is a good and knowledgeable doctor - but her staff leaves much to be desired. I've had three lost appointments (by them, when I arrived - nobody was expecting me despite the confirmation call a few days prior) and one of those appointments was for an actual surgery. The hospital knew I was coming and had everything lined up, Dr. Samy's office didn't inform her that she would be performing an adenoidectomy and tonsillectomy that day. The receptionist is consistently abrupt and unhelpful, and if you are calling to confirm an appointment beforehand she will admonish you for "wasting her time." If you have the option to see another doctor, take it - this office is poorly run and the staff is unprofessional.
