I saw Dr. Gutkin in around the years 2003 and 2004 . I have never forgotten how much he helped me. I was so broken inside from bad relationships . I needed someone to tell me what I needed to be told to find the way to move forward. He was very direct but very kind at the same time. I have had a great stable life since and I owe so much of it to him

The only psychologist I have ever seen. He's good. He manages his own appointments . His office is warm and comfortable. I wish his office was closer to downtown.. the clinic on Autumnwood he's located at is a long bus ride from downtown.

Excellent psychologist. Gave me a solid diagnosis during a telehealth appointment that changed my life. He gave me a very concise letter to give my doctor who was able to use it to start me on the medication I really needed. Very knowledgeable and personable and made it clear that I can feel comic coming back to him at any time. And if h need to I definitely will. Couldn’t possibly recommend more.

Was very helpful in guiding us to deal with conflict in our relationship in a positive and effective way. Alan zeroed in quickly to the issues and cut to the chase in giving us practical solutions and ways of seeing our situation that was more realistic and helped us to come together to appreciate each other and understand each other’s needs. Never have I met a less helpful, less caring individual. The only thing he is able to clearly communicate with patients is that his rates have gone up. If you're in crisis, or even if you're not, Dr. Gutkin is liable to actually make things worse .... go to a hospital, priest, imam, friend, anyone but this doctor if you are struggling.
