I have been her patient for almost 2 years and moved with her to the new location. Dr.sunny is caring , compassionate and knowledgable. She did have some trouble with her staff and she has changed all the staff including her nurse and we love the new staff. She is awesome.

Dr. Sunkavalli is very nice but I was extremely upset that her staff did not give her the information that I told them when I called. I called and wanted to leave a message for Dr. Sunkavalli to call me. I wanted to update her on issues with gynocology visit and mammogram. I had a mammogram that showed microcalcifications and was referred to a surgeon for breast biopsy that came back as Ductal Carcinoma (DCIS). I told staff I was not sleeping well due to the stress of all that. I did not hear back from staff or dr. Someone at Dr. Suni's office called in a Rx for me and never called me back to let me know anything. I went to pharmacy to get a regular Rx med that I take and found there was a new Rx from Dr. Sunkavalli. I was still expecting a call from her that I did not get until 3 weeks later after I called her office again. Staff has a major problem relaying messages to the Dr. I like the Dr. but her staff is either deaf or dumb as a rock.

I ama nurse in the same hospital where Dr.Sunkavalli works. We changed to her after seing how well she took care of her patients in the hospital. I am surrised to read teh comment made on her on 3/4/11. To Clarify few comments, doctors can listen to the lungs and tell if there is infection, labs and X-rays is not always necessary. to have yogurt while on antibiotics is recommended to prevent antibiotic induced diarrhea, the information is easily available on the internet. Dr. Sunkavalli is very fine doctor and dedicated to her patients.

I had been to so many doctors , including Cardiologist for heart racing and body ache.finally went to her reffered by my friend. She did proper labs diagnosed me with Anemia and treated promptly with iron Infusion. Since Iron infusion all my problems were solved. I don't understand why other doctors could not help me when Dr.Sunkavalli fixed me in one visit. Awesome doctor.

1. Neither Dr or staff return calls-or call with results, including EKG rslts. 2. Have prescription voice mail but do not call in scripts or even acknowledge (twice). 3. Ins info taken each time along with a copy of card, they never file the claim causing labs to Dunn you for their money and at end of visit charged as if you do not have ins. When you say that cant be correct, you only have a copay of $30.00, they get very confused.(This visit was after the one where the labs did not receive the insurance info). 5. Went in with ears hurting, non stop coughing, could not sleep because of the coughing. She looked in my ears, said "its not an ear infection", took my temp, listened to my chest, then said I have a severe bacterial infection and prescribed pneumonia meds..I guess shes psychic since no blood was taken or xrays performed. Also no cough meds prescribed. Had extensive conv. abt eating yogurt to replace good bacteria..meds SPECIFICALLY say NOT to eat yogurt. BEWARE!!!!!
