Words are not enough to express our gratitude towards Dr. Nishimoto for the care he coordinated for my father, Ion Rusu in the past 5 months.
We met Dr. Nishimoto in June of this year at Torrance Memorial Hospital. Events pushed our first visit in the hospital rather than at the office. Even though Dr. Nishimoto did not know my father at that time he did not hesitate to come, in record time, at his bedside and to take over his treatment with a professionalism and compassion rare to find in our days.
For the months to come he did everything in his power to make sure my father received the best treatment and had the best medical equipment provided to him almost immediately.
What is unique about Dr. Nishimoto is his attitude, always positive, always optimistic and cheerful, which is not as easy considering the environment. He helps his patients to beat cancer not only with drugs but also with his support and positive attitude and his kindness.
Dr. Nihismoto knows how important it is for patients with cancer to be in touch with their doctor and to receive personalize care therefore he always answers his messages within an hour. Knowing your doctor is really, truly there for you is one of the main ingredients in this unfair fight. Dr. Nishimoto mastered the delicate relationship with his patients so each one of them feels important.
Sadly my father, passed away 3 weeks ago and as we slowly recover from this immense loss, we also recall all the people that help my Dad to stay well for as long as humanly possible.
I will list Dr. Nishimoto on top of that list. With my Dad, Dr. Nishimoto did not lose a patient, he gain a guardian angel.
As for us, we will always have Dr. Nishimoto in our prayers and wish him the absolute best because he deserves nothing short of that!
