My surgery helped me tremendously by lowering my pain level and stabilizing my spine. The doctor and his team are providing me with great follow-up care. Dr Wohns has been our Dr for 21 years. He helped my husband over a period of time 21 years ago. Myself with a cervical fusion in 2015. Lower back surgery in July 2017 and we could not be happier with what he did for us.
His staff is awesome as well.
We thank him and all who work there for everything they have done.

When Brian was 29 he was in a car accident & slowly lost the L4 & L5 fluid out of his discs. He had tremendous back pain. We saw 17 doctors & no one could figure it out. The doctors put him on drugs, but that was no life. When walking the rubbing bones caused intense pain. Finally we were referred to Dr. Wohns. Brian had surgery, an L4/L5 Fusion. After 6 weeks he returned to work full time. He has not had any problems since the surgery. Thank you Dr. Wohns. I am forever grateful!

I wanted to express my deep and honest gratitude for the recent surgeries Dr. Wohns has performed for me. I was in extreme pain prior to visiting Dr. Wohns and with great precision my problem was diagnosed and the right procedures were carried out by yourself and your outstanding staff. I've had several Cervical Surgeries in the past at other facilities. The most recent performed by Dr. Wohns at your Microsurgical Spine Center was bar none the best. I've never had a more relaxed professional experience. From the time of the scheduling through being discharged and the follow-up care it was the best surgical experience I've ever had. The professionalism of care, cleanliness of the facility and overall treatment was exemplary. Patients that visit Dr. Wohns and his staff should be relieved to know that they are literally in best hands when placing themselves into his care. I am so impressed with your treatment and facility that I would refer this facility to anyone. You should feel honored by the level of care, treatment and concern you show all your patients. In addition, your office staff, surgical nurses, anesthesiologist, pain Doctors and Surgical assistants were most helpful in explaining every step of the process, bringing comfort to something that should have been a very stressful experience. I wanted to say thanks for giving me my life back. I was able to go on a 40 mile, 5 day backpacking trip recently! 7 months after my fusion surgery I was able to hike the Pacific Crest Trail through the Goat Rocks area between Mt. Adams and Mt. Rainier! I am happy to report I was able to hike 10 miles on 2 of those days. I carried a 20 lb. backpack and my back felt great:) Thanks!

I first saw Dr Wohn after a horrible misdiagnosis from Good Samaritan Hospital. What was diagnosed as a muscle spasm, actually was a herniated cervical disc which was pressing on a nerve causing horrible neck & arm pain. I had tried every non surgical option including injections, massage therapy twice a week, water therapy, acupuncture, & numerous medications for muscle spasms & pain.

My primary care doctor told me for months I needed surgery, but I had went under the knife too many times before & was petrified. But when my head was basically resting on my chest, & my arm pain became overwhelming I decided to follow my Drs advice. He told me if it was him or a family member, the only neurosurgeon he would refer them to was Dr Wohn.

He performed a cervical disc replacement & to say I owe him my life is not an understatement. I was in complete agony prior to surgery, & after the procedure I was able to get out of bed the following day & unload the dishwasher! The pain was completely gone. To me it was a miracle. He even made the scar, which is on the front of my neck, hidden in the natural crease of my neck. The surgery was 5 years ago & I haven't had any pain since.

Dr. Wohns preformed cervical surgery on me in 2000 and will now do another at a different level. I have complete trust and faith in Dr. Wohns. He is a surgeon 'focused' on the surgery and outcome for the patient and I am not the average patient. His bedside manner is a bit shy of very good, but his technique and quality standards are top-notch, which is what I want in a surgeon.

My first appointment reassured me that they really do want to help me with my chronic pain. The genuinely care and that makes me feel great. Have been to other pain management places and they have done nothing or made things worse. I am so excited for the future with NeoSpine and working towards being pain free. I highly recommended!!!
