Our experience with Dr. Dearborn, first with my son, and currently with myself, has been nothing but positive. He was one of the few therapists accepting in-person appointments, so we made the choice to drive an hour from our home to give him a try. My son felt comfortable opening up with him and was willing to make the commitment to drive to see him weekly. As a follow up, I began seeing Dr. Dearborn and seeing him has given me a better understanding of the importance and benefits of therapy. I am grateful for his compassion, neutrality, professionalism, knowledge and understanding. He has most definitely made a difference in our lives and I would highly recommend him.

Breached therapist/patient confidentiality. Divulged information child told to him and then shared that information with one spouse but not the other. This happened repeatedly.

Dr. Dearborn is the best! He helped me turn my life back around. He truly cares about his patients. I am so glad I met with him. He is knowledgeable and gives great tips and exercises to do at home. I could tell he really wanted the best for me. Even after I moved and stopped having appointments with him, he would still check in via text to see how I was doing. He creates a judgement free environment, which makes it easy to talk about anything. Even as a girl I never once felt awkward or uncomfortable talking about any situation during our sessions. I am extremely grateful for all Dr. Dearborn has done. 10/10 would recommend!!!

Dr. Dearborn is the finest psychologist I have worked with to date. He is intelligent and very well-versed in many areas of psychological expertise. He is very flexible and willing to make things work for your favor. He has two locations: san carlos and menlo park. He cares about the well being of his patients, and I can assure you he would not overstep boundaries to share “confidential info” and if he did then I would assume the patient’s safety was a factor in one way or another. He is very accepting of all backgrounds and I have never felt unsafe around him

This Dr is so unprofessional. He shared confidential information to one parent and excluded the other parent from critical knowledge. He embellished kids stories to parent who then used that to sabatoge the other parent. I have never seen such an unprofessional and meddling Dr.
