Dr. Doty has performed 2 complete ankle replacement surgeries on me. I now have no pain and feel like running again. I am 65 and loving life. I would have been wheelchair bound and in great pain had I not met Dr. Doty. I am convinced he has extended my life a few years. I had no pain after surgery due to great pain management and very little swelling. He and his staff care about me and were very responsive to my concerns. Dr. Doty called me at home in response to one my concerns and his staff called to check on me a number of times after surgery. I am glad I met Dr. Doty. He changed my life.

Dr. Doty performed bunion surgery on both of my feet in 2023. The experience was much easier than I had anticipated. Even though I didn't know what to expect with my first foot, my nurse from Dr. Doty's office called me regularly and answered all my questions. If I had a question in between her calls, I called her and she always responded in a timely manner. I was impressed with the confidence and praise the nurses that worked with Dr. Doty had for his ability. I am now one year out from my first surgery and seven months out from my second and am so thankful to look down at "normal looking" feet for the first time in at least thirty years. I am able to walk and hike without my toes rubbing together in my shoes. I just had my last follow up appointment with Dr. Doty and appreciated how concerned he was about my results. Thank you for improving my quality of life!

Dr. Doty, Jacob, and the entire staff were amazing during my surgery and my follow-up appointments. My ankle was in such poor shape that Dr. Doty thought it would take two surgeries to correct the problem; however, mission accomplished after only one surgery. He knows ankles!

Dr Jesse Doty is well known for excellent foot and ankle surgery. He did an amazing job on my Charcot foot reconstruction surgery. He was highly recommended by other providers in the area. The surgery I had is well known for having poor outcomes and sometimes severe complications. He is very confident in his abilities and can perform this surgery with I’m my case no complications and a great outcome. I heard from several patients in my post-op appointments tell me that they had poor outcomes with other surgeons and was post-op now after having Dr Doty had fixed their prior surgeries and were doing great. Dr. Jesse Doty is a superior surgeon with amazing clinical skills and training supported by a staff of competent, caring, and kind individuals.
He performed the following procedures in 57 minutes to correct my right flat foot diagnosis: a major bone graft harvest, two screws in the ankle, a tendon transfer, a tendon removal, a ligament repair, and the insertion of two osteotomies.
My recovery has been well beyond expectations with virtually no pain thanks to his talent and expertise.

Dr. Doty operated on one of my feet that had been bent and crooked and I could not get a regular shoe on it! He will do the other foot in February. I think he is very attuned to what needs to be done from the moment he sees the problem. From a bunion to a REAL BAD PROBLEM like being crippled by rheumatoid arthritis (my problem) he is the very best!

I fractured my ankle 38 years ago and never had it treated. I have spent the last 30 years looking for a solution as my ankle got more and more deformed. I have been walking on the side of my foot for years now. The pain, discomfort and limited mobility was only getting worse. I contacted DR. Doty in March 2021 and was immediately impressed with his experience and quiet confidence. His honesty and kindness was clear from the outset. Dr. Doty answered all of my questions and said it would be a difficult process and that gradual surgeries would be required to give us the best chance of success. I am now 6 months into the process with the ankle replacement completed 6 weeks ago. I have begun my PT. I am now standing with my foot flat on the ground! I have not experienced that in 20 years. I am starting to walk again with an ankle that has been straightened without a bulbous accumulation of bone to look at every day. Dr. Doty and his team have been
professional, systematic and accommodating. The staff have been very kind on every office visit and my treatment in Erlanger Hospital was exactly as it was explained. I am fortunate to have been in Chattanooga at the same time my ankle was no longer tolerable. The ankle replacement gives me hope and excitement that I will be able to live a more quality life.
