Dr Spear will have negative comments removed, I have left several negative reviews regarding Dr Spear that have all been removed, although rate MD state that you can not pay to remove reviews there are guidelines in reviews and if in breach of one of those guidelines a review can be removed, so I ask all of those previous reviewers who have had their negative review removed, please continue to re submit your review again within the guidelines so it can not be removed.
As can be seen Dr Spear works at Rockingham hospital and he is also a lecturer at UWA, I urge all who have had a negative experience with Dr Spear to contact AHPRA, MLCOA Perth, UWA , Rockingham hospital and RANCP and include all in the one email so ALL will have no cause for deniability, Dr Spear you can keep removing my comments but I will keep posting and going harder, I have been screenshots of previous negative comments by myself and others so all is not lost.

I’m in Rockingham General Hospital and he’s currently my psych inpatient. I am reporting him to APHRA. He literally said it’s my decision/choice if I want to end my life but it’ll be inconvenient for my family and him and he won’t admit me to the mental health unit even though I’m struggling so much (im currently on the medical ward). Hes stigmatising my BPD and is dismissing all my self harm thoughts and ideas. He needs to get his license taken off of him.

I found this Dr to be very thorough & allowed enough time for my consultation. My last IMR went for 1/2 while this went for over 2. He was transparent & made sure I understood the process. At the end of the appointment he gave an indication of where he thought my WPI would come in at & how long it would take to complete the report. If he was being honest I am extremely happy with this Dr

Had an appointment with Dr Spear and decided to read reviews before I attended. Was very worried about going after reading all the scathing reviews.
I found the exact opposite of all the negative comments. He was caring, professional, knowledgeable and approachable. We discussed my case at length and he answered all my questions without any condescension.
I would highly recommend him to anyone. Very happy with his approach and attitude.

Dr.spear was one of the worst psychiatrists I have ever met! Spoke over me quite often and then put me down aswell as made me feel invalidated. I was stuggling and he took that and made it even worse. Placing someone under the mental health act for a chronic illness is not my fault I have it

Dr Spear was courteous, put you at ease and very fair. His report was very balanced - the most unbiased doctor at MLCOA in 20 yrs.

I was having a panic attack prior to seeing Dr Spears for a Comcare IME. His friendly persona helped ease my anxiety throughout the appointment. I have today received his report & it was very fair. The history very accurate & he managed to summarise my symptoms very well considering my lack of ability in describing them.

Wrote a very good history then said my working 8 to 15 hours a weeks was being affected by my conditions but STILL able to work same hours. His background is geriatrics not Veterans.

I would highly recommend Dr spear. I have seen him on two different occasions and he has been straight to the point but without any pressure or forcefulness in how he ask such difficult questions he has to ask in the time given for the appointment. I feel that I got the most professional advice and help from Dr spear. Thank you again.

This Dr re diagnosed me then wrote and submitted a report WITHOUT my consent, No consultation and without even speaking to me, I have never had any contact with Dr Spear, I was previously diagnosed with Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as a Volunteer Emergency Services First Responder yet Dr Spear diagnosed me with Paranoid Personality Disorder without ever speaking to me despite my requests that he do so and against the diagnosis of those who had previously been seeing me on a regular basis, Dr Spear should read RANZCP principle 5 where I need to be informed which INCLUDES written reports, So yes this is a NEGATIVE review.
