Biography

Dr. Michael P. Castillo attended Rice University where he earned his degree in biochemistry. He then went on to attend medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern School of Medicine in Dallas. Upon graduation he was selected to join the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He stayed at UT Southwestern to complete his internship and residency in Otolaryngology. Dr. Castillo is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery and is committed to practicing the most up to date medicine to provide the best care for his patients. He enjoys communicating with his patients to discover a treatment plan unique to that individual. When he’s not practicing medicine, Dr. Castillo enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys. He has a multitude of interests including biking, jogging, cooking, and travel. Dr. Castillo cares for adult and pediatric patients in the Clear Lake office, which serves patients from all parts of southeast Houston and the Gulf Coast.
