Biography
Dr. Jason Wu, DO is the head of rheumatology at The Orthopedic Institute of New Jersey. Double board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine and rheumatology, Dr. Wu has expertise in: Ankylosing spondylitis Arthritis Dermatomyositis/polymyositis Giant cell arteritis/temporal arteritis Gout and pseudogout Osteoporosis Polymyalgia rheumatica Psoriatic arthritis Raynaud’s phenomenon Rheumatoid arthritis Sarcoidosis Scleroderma Sjögren’s syndrome Systemic lupus erythematosus Vasculitis Dr. Wu received his rheumatology fellowship training from Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY and Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY. He completed his internal medicine residency at Winthrop University Hospital. He earned his medical degree as well as his masters in clinical nutrition from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY, where he received numerous honors during his studies. Dr. Wu completed his undergraduate degree at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, where he was also recognized as a George H. Cook Honors Scholar. He is a member of the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners, The American College of Rheumatology and The American College of Physicians. In addition, he holds a membership in The American Osteopathic Association. Dr. Wu resides in Boonton, NJ with his wife and daughter. In his free time he enjoys traveling, sports and spending time with his family.

Dr Jason Wu is excellent.He takes time to listen to me,as the patient.He is understand of pain,as arthritis comes in so many places as we age.It also caused various forms of pain.My husband and I both trust in him./His staff is top notch.Renee is terrific!& all his staff,and I have been to Sparta office with different staff&had horrid experience there.I recommend.
