I found Dr Hewitt whilst knowledgeable, and obviously busy, he was shuffling two and three patients into rooms at the same time, a little arrogant and condescending. Could definitely use some a little time out to reflect on his people skills. 😬

Ben is very easy to get along with and will answer any questions regarding surgical procedures or after care issues. I have undergone two surgeries with this man and can say that I have been more than a little impressed with him as a competent surgeon. He is very personable and easy to talk to. If any of my family members required the type of surgery that Ben undertakes I would not hesitate to recommend them to him,

Dr Ben Hewitt was incredible! My knee is now back to 100% when I got told by others that I would never recover. Would strongly recommend!

Dr Ben Hewitt has a fantastic approach to every aspect of the surgery through to recovering. I would recommend him to any one who needed his expertise. I have had an unicompartment replacement on my knee and I am amazed at my recovery at only one and a half weeks. Can't wait to see me

at the end of six weeks!

I found Mr Ben Hewitt to be totally incompetent and arrogant ,when the issue was raised about the surgery not being right. I was fobbed of . Its just a matter of time before I need another knee replacement.

Such an awesome surgeon, very supportive and knows his stuff. He is very direct, almost over cautious but this is needed if you want to get back to competitive sport. When I re-tore my ACL, phoned his friendly staff who are always very personable, booked in for surgery 2 days later. Hopefully I won't need him again, but will always recommend him.

Knowledgeable and clearly skillful (operates on a lot of footy players), but disinterested and rather unempathetic. Did not refer for MRI in the case where an accident actually caused the re-rupture of an ACL which he had grafted and reconstructed.
