Just avoid at all cost. Creepy, exceptional late start to appointments, and unprofessional.

I have never felt more judged, more invalidated or less listened to by a professional than I did after my appointment with Dr. Mark Greenwald. I went into my appointment—referred by the hospital—with high hopes of finally getting answers. Instead, I was met by a rigid man who would not let me finish my sentences, let alone listen to me. While explaining my situation and symptoms, Dr. Greenwald would interrupt to tell me how I was wrong. I am fine with being wrong; however, I don’t believe that he even heard my full explanation. I strongly felt that Dr. Greenwald had made up his mind the minute he saw me. At one point, he had asked about my water intake. Admittedly, I am not the best at maintaining my water intake. However, in a degrading, rude, and judgmental tone, he stated ''You don't look like a stupid girl, but what you're doing is like hitting yourself on the head and asking why your head hurts'' as if to imply that ALL of my problems were brought on by my less-than-perfect hydrating habits.
Prior to that, I had mentioned that multiple doctors have told me that I have extremely low levels of B-12. In response, he asked to see my hand. After a quick glance at my hand, he told me he was hesitant to believe I had a B-12 deficiency.
The whole appointment made me feel voiceless, invalidated and unworthy. My hopes of feeling healthy for once in my life had been shot down by a doctor who clearly needs to retire. As an individual who also works within the health care field, I know first hand how important it is to remain nonjudgmental and unbiased towards your patients and to listen to your patients—practices that Dr. Greenwald has clearly forgotten.

I visited Dr Greenwald with and for my 8 year old daughter and I was VERY happy with how the Dr eased her fear and nervousness. He was punctual, very pleasant to chat with and his knowledge and expertise is evident! He says it like it is and I appreciate that! I’m very happy to have him caring for my daughter in the treatment of her anaphylactic allergy! Couldn’t have asked for better!

SAVE YOURSELF THE TRIP! WORST DOCTOR EVER!

I never feel the need to write reviews on ANYTHING(especially doctors) but this just felt necessary- a public service even. This was single-handedly the worst experience I’ve EVER had. Dr. Greenwald’s attitude is something I would never expect to see from a doctor-but maybe a child. I, along with others, rather not leave the doctor’s with a bad impression. He made me feel uncomfortable by his snobbish remarks and mannerisms after I told him that he forgot to prepare me for our appointment(this was our second appointment). EGOTISTICAL MAN. I would’ve given him a zero if i could. Beyond unprofessional.

I recommend he HUMBLE himself and remember that we are CLIENTS.

Came off condescending and a know it all. Made it seem like having allergies were my fault. He tried to upsell a bunch of products to me and said I will be sending a voice report to your family doctor. A follow up appointment with my doctor confirmed his office did not send such a recording. Came off as a creep also. Stay away. Werid doctor.

Dr. Greenwald is not very knowledgeable at what he is supposed to be a "professional" at and very condescending. He is also not punctual and he was late 45 mins for my appointment. They also make you pay these "hidden" fees which are not covered by OHIP, but this is just a cash grab. My two visits with him were complete waste of time and only thing he recommended was trying to push his "skin care products" and very expensive drugs once he learned I had EHC coverage through work. Salesman not a doctor.

Doctor is friendly, receptionist isn't bad but rushed it seems. Not a lot of time is given when trying to ask questions and such. Waited for 4 hours in the office to see the doctor during our last visit. Was originally referred to the doctor and saw him on two separate occasions, now to see him again within a year of our last visit, we need another referral. Will seek out a new doctor to take over for my family.

Love the DOCTOR , hate his receptionist, she told me I was late for my appointment and would need to reschedule, I told her I had 45 minutes until my appointment...she than said no and proceeded to try and rebook me....she was beyond rude! Only for me to go in there to take my referral back, she looked at me and asked me what my last name was .. and than said " oh yea your right" .... First off can we introduce technology into this office and get a HP, and stop booking in calendars, maybe that way there will be less room for error.....Cant wait to find another allergist !

Reception was nice. Had to pay $40 for a 15 min visit. I think he is a douche bag. Questioned my parenting skills. He needs to be in a different field. Maybe behind a computer in a tiny cubicle away from kids and women.
